Senior Member aaron1234 Posted January 4, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 4, 2012 By 4 years your hair should have cycled through enough times that the kinky, wiry ones would have straightened out and thickened up. They shouldn't die if they were taken from the "safe" zone. However, I don't know of any way to "cure" the kinky, wiry hairs. You could try some styling products (i.e. paste, gel, clay, etc.) which can definitely help. You might also need another hair transplant. Do you have any updated pics?
