Ive read and searched the fourm about the topic and the reasons and theories behind this phenomenon but i didnt really read about how to cure this. Rogian, Biotin, MSM laser comb? will these hair eventually become thicker or will they eventually die? im almost 4 years into my surgery and feel that these hair may be in trouble. thanks for ur help guys!!

I tried to search and nothing came up but I still after 2 years have a few hairs that still have that kinkiness & corkscrew look to them..what is this from will they ever straighting out? are they dieing? what can i do to give them more life or something?

are we talking Fiizz or the curly hair effect?

I dont think waiting a year to see how propecia does is a good idea. Propecia works but not that good!

Man you looked like me...your a NW 5 i guess? And I personally dont think 1300 in the front and 400 in the middle is going to cut it. It will help for sure and I know these arnt free but I would go a little larger. It will be interesting what others say..

This is a good question? what are most averages? i still find it difficult to believe that a surgeon can fit 50+ graphs in a square centimeter.

what do most docs put in on the high end? I haver looked at my HT up close and dont know how you could do 60?

Im 14 weeks too and experiencing the same thing. I feel all of the fine colorless hairs but have some solid hairs too. I can see a ton of bumps on my head..not like pimples with puss but like hairs trying to break through

I should have mentioned Bill that the thicker hairs are growing where I had no hair. But either way I am excited!! If things have started which I think they have the next two months are going to be great!! everyweek my scalp gets less and less shiny

Im exactly 3 months and I feel alot of peach fuzz and see lots of short thick, black hair coming in its very exciting..My shiny scalp is no longer as visible. Ive read that people experience different kinds of new growth some have peach fuzz new growth and others have thick coarse hair. I would imagine that everyone has a combo of both. If I had to guess I would say my first new transplants have come in 85% fuzz and 15% new thick and dark? Does anyone know anything about the correlation?

I restarted mt propecia regimen2 weeks after the HT and started propecia the day after my HT. Im 11 weeks and have alot of growth in the form of peachfuzz and a few thicker hairs. I can see some results and I feel am ahead of schduel but I dont have a transformation per say. I am hoping for some real progress in the next few weeks. I dont know what role propecia and rogain played but thats my story

not sure why they shave I'm glad my Doc was skilled enough to transplant with out shaving my head.

I am almost ten weeks and have a bunch of peach fuzz I can feel but barely see. From what ive read the dark thick hairs or native hair the transplanted hair comes in thin and colorless.

yes Bill you gave me this answer but still doesnt answer my question. It seams like everyone could easily answer it. how long does your peach fuzz get before you see some color? 1cm? 2cm? I know it doesnt happen overnight. Everyone surely noticed the new colorless peachfuzz just like I did. how long did it take before they had color to them? 5 weeks after popping up(or just over a CM)? Here was your answer This is all normal. Hair starts to grow as thin, fine, colorless hairs and will slowly grow over time. Not all the hair will grow at one time in most cases, and it will take up to one year to mature. It's exciting seeing new sprouts of hair isn't it? But be patient - you have a long way to go.

well I have the fuzz just no answer.

im 8 weeks and got a ton of peachfuzz. my fuzz is about 1/8 of an inch. Surely it wont be an inch long and still have no color? How long did yours get before some color showed?

Any pics? I wouldn't get my hopes up. I was like you hair was growing for 2.5 weeks then the shedding started to take place. But its natural to believe they wont shed and more exciting also.
