Senior Member Cant decide Posted December 5, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted December 5, 2011 Definitely the rogain first. I put the foam on with my scalp and hair still damp since it provides better penetration into the scalp. I then let it dry until it is very slightly damp. Then I put in Samy zero calorie thickening cream. I follow that with a small amount of American crew fiber to style it and finish it off. Thanks Cant Decide Don't get me wrong when I ask this: Your Hair LOOKS GREAT! Are you completely satisfied or are you planning on having anymore work done? I know that you are happy with your results, why wouldn't you be, I mean are you wanting more coverage or are you good with what you have? Newhairplease!! Senior Member Cant decide Posted December 5, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) I am thrilled with my results and if I never did another I would be happy and provided I stabilize I would not need another. The crown is a little thin but not that bad and the meds are helping allot. I do want to do one more big procedure of maybe 3000 grafts eventually to really hit the crown nice (although I may be able to do it with 2k) and just a couple hundred in the temple corners ( total both sides). I will wait for some time to do a second if ever. The areas already addressed with my first op do not have to be touched the second time around which is awesome. What is nice is that as long as my potential eventual second goes as well as my first, all areas would be covered well and I will still have about 2k grafts left for the future which I don't plan on using but still nice to know it's there. Getting to the same place as many Do in 2 ops instead of 3 or 4 will be a great feeling. My wife, who never sugar coats anything for me tells me that I look like I have a full head of hair and the thinning in the crown is not all that bad. Amazing when you consider I was a NW 5!! She just told me that my hair looks like the guy on Burn Notice (TV show) Good luck with your upcoming. Can't wait to read about your progress. Senior Member orlhair1 Posted December 5, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted December 5, 2011 I use both the foam and crew. I put the foam on first, dry it and then use the crew. Seems to work well.
