Hi

I am interested if anyone has had a Hair Transplant with Dr Rodgers in the UK. I hear is one the leading surgeons along with Dr Farjo.

I would be grateful if you can advise on the experience & result.

I know so many people say you have to go to the US for a decent result, but Ive seen many pictures of the work in the UK and it looks great. Also, I have seen many articles saying the work of DR Farjo and Rodgers is on par with the US.

Thanks all

HT No1 : Nobel clinic, Gatwick 500 grafts - Terrible result, left with bumpy skin

HT No2 : Marwan Saifi 1680 grafts. Great result

HT No3 - Marwan Saifi 1250 grafts. Another good result.

HT No4 - Hakan Doganay 2134 grafts. Result TBA

Total 5134 grafts.

The good news is that he is on the ISHRS. The bad news is that we have simply not seen enough evidence that he is a consistently good physician to recommend him for HT.

There are a handful of great HT surgeons in the world, there are hundreds upon hundreds or mediocre ones. Not only that, but they'll charge the same amount of money per graft as their more esteemed competitors. Rogers for example, will be charging around 5GBP per graft when to start getting to the 1,000 graft figures.

If you're a UK resident and you're happy to opt for strip, Farjo is your best bet. Within Europe you have Bisanga, Feriduni and Devroye. There is choice and you don't have to travel to the US to find a good surgeon.

Dr. Rogers doesn't really have too good of a reputation on here. More bad than good comes out of his clinic. Go Farjo or go elsewhere. The only thing I don't like about Farjo is he is very conservative.

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D

Don't let travel and money affect your decision on which doctor should do your HT. If you live in the UK, then Farjo is the best. But I would look outside the UK for other opinions as well.

Dr. G: 1,000 grafts (FUT) 2008

Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013

Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020

A lot of people from the UK use Dr. Devroye or Dr. Feriduni in Belgium. They are outstanding HT doctors.

What is Dr Feriduni like on costs ? What should I expect to pay for say 3000 follicular units (6600 hairs) This would be by strip method

I have a budget f 8k (gbp)
