Senior Member futbol9 Posted July 12, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted July 12, 2011 Hello everybody I will be one month affter my hair transplant surgery this coming thursday. most of my implanted hairs have fallen out, but I think this is normal right? I have a question, can I get a haircut now. I wanna use the number one clippers to cut my hair. my hair looks funny right now. should I post some pics before I cut my hair or it does not matter? thank you
Senior Member Levrais Posted July 12, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 12, 2011 It's ok to get a haircut at this point but going to a #1 will probably show off the strip scar quite a but. If that's an issue for you then see how it looks at a #4. Taking pics is always a good idea. 5700 FUE in 3 procedures with Dr. Bisanga View my patient website: http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1874
Senior Member futbol9 Posted July 12, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted July 12, 2011 thank you levrais I will post some pics before I cut my hair and after. Thank you by the way I will be wearing a hat for about 5 or 6 months untill my transplanted hair grows a litte bit. I do not know whats worst, showing the scar or having a lot of hair in the back and on the sides and nothing on top. Thanks for your response

I have a rower machine than I would like to star using for cardio. is call the c2 rower machine you can find it on youtube. I am concern if doing this machine will stretch my scar and I do not want that. thank you guys. if am not able to upload videos here then please look it up on youtube ( C2 ROWER) and let me know what you guys think. thank you
Senior Member futbol9 Posted August 25, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted August 25, 2011 hello guys I am 9 weeks after my strip hair transplant. will push ups and pull ups stretch my donor scar? I just did 50 pushups before typing this message I felt them a little bit in my lower neck area, but I thing that is because today is my first time doing anything in almost 2 and a half months. I started doing the C2 rower machine last week, but I just feel like I am doing nothing if I do not lift weights:( well, let me know guys if push ups and pullups are ok after hair transplant. and check out my machine and let me know what you think in regards of the scar? thanks
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted August 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 25, 2011 If you are feeling a pull in your neck area then you should probably refrain from that activity. You do risk stretching your scar, even at 9 weeks post-op. Maybe focus more on cardio - biking, running, etc. You have to be your own referee with this. If it doesn't feel right then you should probably stop. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted August 27, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2011 Check with Dr. Meshkin. You may have an infection or folliculitis. Regular Member CaptainO Posted September 12, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted September 12, 2011 Futbol, First off, you went to one of the best doctors around. He does a great job as described numerous times on these forums. I had my procedure done with him in Jan 2009 for 1800 grafts. Since then, I have had more hair fall out and have scheduled a 2nd session for another 2000 grafts. My recommendations to you are not to take so many pictures so close together in time. You won't be able to see much of a difference. Try to space them out to maybe every 8 weeks. Also, I would stop shaving your head as it makes the scare very visible and the point of the surgery less appealing. The goal for all of us is making our head look more appealing to others and by showing that scar off, I think it defeats the purpose of your goal. Now thats just my opinion which doesn't make it fact. I think you'll be quite pleased by your results in about 14 months. And when they say it takes up to 18 months to see the full effects, it really does.
Senior Member Levrais Posted September 12, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 12, 2011 Futbol, Has the rash resolved itself yet? I looked at your 2 month pics which seemed to be right on track. Also, I don't think the scar was looking bad at all. 5700 FUE in 3 procedures with Dr. Bisanga View my patient website: http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1874
Senior Member futbol9 Posted September 12, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 12, 2011 Thank u guys for all your advice. And yes the rush is gotten a lot better however I noticed that e everytime I shampoo my hair I get dry flakes on my hairline. It could be the heat and my hat too. I live in Fresno California where the weather has been over 100 degrees for about 2 weeks and I wear a baseball hat all the time to protect my head from The sun. I think part of the rush and flaky hairline could be do to the hat and heat. What do you guys think. By the way this Tuesday will be 3 months since my hair transplant with Dr. Meshkin. I will be posting new pics on Tuesday. Thank you
