hello,

You have healed very well. ou can use witch hazel until the end of the third week in the donor area only. And if you are not using your medications, then you can drink alcohol. If you have any other questions, I will be more than happy to answer. have a nice 4th of July.

I am a patient advocate for Dr. Meshkin who is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network.

Hello everybody I will be one month affter my hair transplant surgery this coming thursday. most of my implanted hairs have fallen out, but I think this is normal right? I have a question, can I get a haircut now. I wanna use the number one clippers to cut my hair. my hair looks funny right now. should I post some pics before I cut my hair or it does not matter? thank you

It's ok to get a haircut at this point but going to a #1 will probably show off the strip scar quite a but. If that's an issue for you then see how it looks at a #4. Taking pics is always a good idea.

hello guys I am 9 weeks after my strip hair transplant. will push ups and pull ups stretch my donor scar? I just did 50 pushups before typing this message I felt them a little bit in my lower neck area, but I thing that is because today is my first time doing anything in almost 2 and a half months. I started doing the C2 rower machine

last week, but I just feel like I am doing nothing if I do not lift weights:( well, let me know guys if push ups and pullups are ok after hair transplant. and check out my machine and let me know what you think in regards of the scar? thanks

If you are feeling a pull in your neck area then you should probably refrain from that activity. You do risk stretching your scar, even at 9 weeks post-op. Maybe focus more on cardio - biking, running, etc. You have to be your own referee with this. If it doesn't feel right then you should probably stop.

Check with Dr. Meshkin. You may have an infection or folliculitis.

Futbol,

First off, you went to one of the best doctors around. He does a great job as described numerous times on these forums. I had my procedure done with him in Jan 2009 for 1800 grafts. Since then, I have had more hair fall out and have scheduled a 2nd session for another 2000 grafts.

My recommendations to you are not to take so many pictures so close together in time. You won't be able to see much of a difference. Try to space them out to maybe every 8 weeks. Also, I would stop shaving your head as it makes the scare very visible and the point of the surgery less appealing. The goal for all of us is making our head look more appealing to others and by showing that scar off, I think it defeats the purpose of your goal. Now thats just my opinion which doesn't make it fact.

I think you'll be quite pleased by your results in about 14 months. And when they say it takes up to 18 months to see the full effects, it really does.

Thank u guys for all your advice. And yes the rush is gotten a lot better however I noticed that e everytime I shampoo my hair I get dry flakes on my hairline. It could be the heat and my hat too. I live in Fresno California where the weather has been over 100 degrees for about 2 weeks and I wear a baseball hat all the time to protect my head from

The sun. I think part of the rush and flaky hairline could be do to the hat and heat. What do you guys think. By the way this Tuesday will be 3 months since my hair transplant with Dr. Meshkin. I will be posting new pics on Tuesday. Thank you

I will be posting pics tomorrow on a different thread. thank you and let me know what you guys think.
