There are 2 guys having consultations for HT in a clinic in England. Having researched and gone through a transplant myself i cant help but thinking these guys are ill informed one of them asked the surgeon if the before and after photos he was being shown were done by him ( not the type of question you would ask your surgeon with a highly regarded reputation Hasson Wong , Feller etc etc. Not wanting to diss the UK but just think they appear behind the game thats all!! It is an absolute must to have been on this forum for 1 year plus doing your research etc before jumping in. I guess you pay for what you get. Thannk goodness for this website and for people like Spex and Jontronic!!! It seemed like the price ?5k for 2500 grafts was not too bad, but from the little shown it did look like the grafts were arranged lined up rather than random. The foreign patient was Norwood 5/6? I don't think 2500 grafts were going very far with him. Although the consult was done by the surgeon, the distrubinf part was all the high pressure sales, finance plans at 20% APR etc. I imagine Dr Farjo was shouting at the screen yesterday for the negative light UK procedures were shown in. He was desperate to get some hair back and was so vunerable and those leaches pounced on him , id hate to see his scar and result after that bodg dissection under no micro, i wanted to go there and pull him off the surgeons chair and tell him to go to a coalition surgeon and kick that surgeon in the nuts for his lies. it happened to me also so im still quite raw about dodgy u.k. clinics, currently im waiting to revise my huge scar left by a dodgy u.k. clinic, wish id found these forums before i was duped into same. Also I don't use minoxidil anymore I lost no hair coming off it. Reduced propecia to 1mg every other day. Regular Member Ellie Posted June 7, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted June 7, 2011 I felt very sorry for the young guy with the accent, I dont think the coverage would have been adequate and he didnt appear to have the money for further grafts. Dr Khan, the surgeon who showed his lower Bleph scars to the camera, has many unhappy Rhino patients in the UK, when things go wrong hes very dismissive.
