These are a little late in coming but here is Ken’s 2 month progress update. He had 2,569 grafts placed into the frontal aspect of his scalp and hairline. He has been coming to the office for photos and video so others can follow his experience month by month. At this point, Ken is starting to let his hair grow back in.

Ken's 2 month videohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae2BU920zA4

At month 1, he shaved his head; at this point in month 2, the transplanted hairs have gone through the shedding cycle.

Doc

Its wild seeing my photos up. It was great seeing you today. Just watching the change from these photos and now today is really cool. Can’t wait to see what you do with todays photos and the video.

See you next month.

Just like a said in last writing, do your homework; find a doc that going to go all out for you; I was lucky to find one right here in Portland. What was really cool is that even on Saturday, he was taking care of his folks that he did surgery on the last few days. When i had my surgery, it was nice that the staff was available to do the cleaning. It gave me tons of confidence that he was there for me when I had questions.

I finally was able to get the video up.

Ken's hair is in the dormant phase of the time frame after hair transplantation. He does feel tiny hairs starting to grow. He completely shaved his head 2 week ago and is going to let it grow out.

Ken will be back next month to follow his progress.

Looks great. But is there a scar? I didn't see one and he obviously shaved. Are there any back-of-the-head photos?

I’m in the office today. I’ll check to see if I have any donor area photos; if so, I’ll put them up.

Ziggy

Numbness of the top the scalp is very common after hair restoration surgery. The nerves that innervate the scalp are "stunned" for a while, and most patients experience complete return of sensation to the top of their scalp 2 - 4 months following surgery as the nerves "wake up."

Here is a photo of the scar at two months that you asked for. The scar has shock loss around it, and when the transplanted hairs start growing, the hairs around the scar will also start growing. I”ll make sure to continue to put in photos of the scar to watch it mature as well.
