Effect of FUT on hairline

Recommended Posts

My problem is that I am thinning in the forelock area but I still have a decent enough hairline, whilst using H and W's hair laxity exercises a thought occured to me... When they close the strip wound at the back of your head does that not pull your hairline back slightly, meaning your hairline looks a bit further back?

Inevitably the skin will be stretched after a donor strip is removed and the wound closed, but this will have no effect on the hairline, which is much too far away. When doing your exercises place some fingers at the hairline and you'll feel no movement there.

Very nice question, Thats what i always wanted to ask before, so Dr Glenn if i do a strip surgery, for sure my safe zone area will get smaller.. so how will it get smaller? will my balding crown get bigger and safe zone gets lower, or as i understood from your point of view, my neck will get longer as the safe zone will be lifted up and not lowered? so by that way my crown position remains same????

Please answer it with further explaination if you dont mind Doc...
