Senior Member orangehair Posted January 14, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) This patient had his 3 month follow-up with Dr. Dorin to evaluate the progress of his FUE treatment. Given the patients age (mid 20's) and potential future hair loss, Propecia was recommended and started along with an initial FUE procedure of 831 grafts to rebuild the hairline zone at an appropriate level given his age, donor density, and developing pattern. He is really showing amazing early growth with both the transplantation and effects of Propecia. The gelling of his hair takes away from the natural uniformity of the result but nevertheless its a promising start. Will update around the 6-8 month mark. Senior Member orangehair Posted January 21, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 21, 2011 thanks Mick....we want the patient to not only see results after one year but for the restoration to be a success 30 years from now...it important that he is willing to use a combined approach and for the doctor to best ration his donor supply in managing future hair loss progression - good planning is needed for long term success.
