Saw Palmetto & Nettle root

CallMe,

According to an article at our hair loss learning center, individuals who utilize nettle root suggest taking 500 mg a day. Additionally, it appears as if 240 - 320 mg is the recommended amount of saw palmetto. Keep in mind that neither of these methods are as proven or effective as medications like Propecia/finasteride or Rogaine/minoxidil, and that these amounts are simple recommendations, likely pooled from studies and individuals using the products. I'd like to also suggest that you continue researching these products and possibly mention your usage to your personal physician and see if he/she has any input or advice. Good luck.

There's no point at all in taking Saw Palmetto with Propecia, one or the other, not both.

Also there's no point in anyone trying to prove that Saw Palmetto is as good as Propecia since it is a natural herb and can't be patented, there's no money in it for them.
