Regular Member azjoe1 Posted October 17, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted October 17, 2010 Outside of the various Dr's websites for pics of success stories, how does one actually get to meet other HT patients for reference purposes?
Senior Member corvettester Posted October 18, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted October 18, 2010 This forum is an excellent way to meet people. I'm new here and I've already met three people. So just ask around and I think you'll find that there are many friendly members who'd be glad to help you out. Dr. Glenn Charles
You can also ask a hair restoration physician to arrange for you to meet with a patient who had hair transplantation. I often do this for patients who would feel more comfortable if they could see a few patients in person. I try to set up for them to come to clinic if possible to view a live surgery and see the patient immedietly post-op. Then also meet with a patient who already is showing results from the procedure. You can look at photos all day, but there is no substitute for observing first hand. Seeing is believing.
