Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted October 12, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted October 12, 2010 This fellow came up about 13 months ago and we did 2200 grafts to create a frontal hairline. He has very thin hair shafts but got some early growth. About 5 months ago, he flew in again and wanted us to augment significantly thinning hair in the tuft that we originally worked around. He had declined a big case early on, thus he wound up with 2 cases. He's showing pretty good growth of the first and some significant growth in the second region and will stop by next spring at the 1 year mark from the second case. The astute viewer will note that he continues to thin back farther than we worked despite some type of homeopathic remedy he obtained in South America. Shown are original, early followup pics, 4,6, 8 and 12 month pics. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted October 13, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted October 13, 2010 Dr. Lindsey, Very nice work. He's come quite a long way. It's a shame that he's chosen to rely on an unproven homeopathic remedy to curb the progression of hair loss. I hope he finds that balance he is looking for. I know he is in good hands.
