Regular Member Gin0rm0usF0rehead Posted September 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted September 20, 2010 So while showering i feel a little stinging. After the shower i looked in the mirror and there's a tiny hole where the graft is missing and there is quite a bit of blood that i had to keep pressure on to stop bleeding. This has happened twice now. Once in the shower. And once not in the shower. Anyone else experience this after 2 months? Are the grafts gone for good? Bill - Seemiller
GinormousForehead, Almost all of your transplanted hairs will shed between 4 to 6 weeks after the procedure. While you may be seeing tiny holes or areas of missing hair, the follicles are alive and well underneath the surface of the scalp. You're just not able to see these. 3 to 5 months after the procedure, these hairs will begin to grow and take up to a year to thicken, darken and fully mature. Feel free to post your progress photos by creating a blog or patient website. Best wishes in restoring your hair, Bill

Regular Member Gin0rm0usF0rehead Posted September 20, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 20, 2010 This wasn't a normal shedding. There was pain and bleeding which was unsettling.
Senior Member Tom60 Posted September 21, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 21, 2010 if you are that nervous about it then I would probably consult your doctor. He/She might just say the same thing as us though. Has it happened again?
