Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted August 10, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted August 10, 2010 This nice fellow had a nice case last April. He stopped in about 6 months and was growing slowly. At a year, he emailed a pic, included, and was getting better growth. Last Thursday he stopped in as he was passing through Virginia, and at 16 months he looks good. He has had a little more progression of hairloss at the crown side of the "U" and where his triangles join the rest of his hair; and we'll do a small FUE next summer when his job permits. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 11, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted August 11, 2010 Dr. Lindsey, This is a very nice cosmetic improvement for this patient. Is he using Rogaine or Propecia to stabilize his hair loss? David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted August 24, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 24, 2010 I think he used to take propecia. My memory of his visit is that he is trying to conceive with his wife and has stopped propecia so that there is no chance that she'll touch the pills during gestation. Perhaps a bit overkill...but I completely understand. I know that when my wife was pregnant that I stopped even using Retin A (for wrinkles) thinking that if one of my kids came out with 12 toes, I'd be blaming myself as the cause.
