Senior Member JakeVig Posted June 24, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted June 24, 2006 Yep thats the active ingredient of Nizoral shampoo. Sounds like you got a generic version just like myself. The 2% is the prescription strength version. 1344 grafts with Ron Shapiro - June 2006
Regular Member homa Posted October 28, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted October 28, 2008 i use generic version 2% ! it reversed my hair loss i think i am a very good responder to it!
Senior Member Mountinvan Posted October 28, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted October 28, 2008 I have tried both the generic and the brand versions. While the generic versions might have the same efficacy, it does not work as well as a shampoo. I like the way my hair feels after using the real stuff. Its just plain better shampoo in my humble opinion.
