Goin' Amrish
If circumstances permit, I would hope to receive treatment from HDC London in early 2011. I'm Irish and have limited options in my own country. The Blackrock Clinic is too expensive for me at this stage, while I've read less the encouraging feedback about the Kiely Clinic in Cork. Here we go... I plan to undergo a Strip Super Megasession of 3500 to 4000 grafts (donor area allowing). Before I sign off on a consultation, I would like to know the following... 1. Do they have a good reputation of results? 2. Are there hidden costs beyond those stated on the website? 3. After the procedure, will I need to return for post-operative care (stitch-removal, etc.)? I would have circa 12000 Euro to spend in all. Detailed advice from the members here would be most welcome. Thanks in advance, Declan.
Senior Member Leeson Posted May 5, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 5, 2009 It seems every clinic I've never heard of, claims to be the leader in their country, and the ones that don't claim to be the leaders, actually are. The only clinic in the UK, that is recommended, is Farjo. My Hair Loss Website - Dr. Hasson
Shang
If you wish to have your HT done in 2011, you have another 2 years to do your research and by then hopefully you will have concluded not to have your HT with HDC London.

Hi Declan, HDC only do consultations in London, they perform surgery in Cyprus. 1. Yes, I've seen some good results from them. 2. No, 4000 grafts will cost you 10600 Euro. 3. No, your doctor or a nurse can take them out. I'm from the UK and I flew to Dr. Rahal in Canada and I'm thrilled with my result. 4000 grafts with Dr. Rahal will cost you 8745 Euros in today's exchange rate. Hope this helps My Hair Loss Website - Two HTs with Dr. Rahal and SMP at HIS Hair.
Goin' Amrish
Thanks, all. My other option is The Blackrock Clinic with Dr. Maurice Collins. I know his work is significantly more expensive, but how much more? I can't find definitive pricing of his procedures.

Regular Member irish numpty Posted May 5, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted May 5, 2009 Dia Dhuit I just had a HT in Farjo's last week and I'm from Ireland. I can give you any info you want on Messrs Farjo, but again wouldn't recommend anyone. Its all down to research. Having said that. my HT is brilliant. But do the research.
