Senior Member tkerr22 Posted January 4, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted January 4, 2007 Totally normal. A lot of hairs will be attached to the little scab, everything is nice and secure by two weeks out. Some of the hairs might even grow for a little while but eventually will fall out. You are experiencing the normal shed at this point. My Hair Loss Weblog

Guest Cousin_It
Johnno... I agree, at two weeks the follicles are firmly implanted. Any hairs that come out with the removal of scabs will not adversely effect your ultimate results. They would have fallen sooner or later anyway. I believe the sooner they fall the sooner the new follicles can begin to grow.

Bill - Seemiller
johnno, I agree with my friends above...totally normal. You will begin to notice more and more grafts fall out as the time goes by...but the follicles are firmly in tact. Even when they start to grow, some will surface sooner than others. Others will grow quickly, others will grow slow. Some will be visible when they surface, others will be fine white hairs that will thicken over time.
