Regular Member sunshineboy Posted September 18, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted September 18, 2009 I had my HT about a week ago and I am still feeling some tenderness and pain in the back top of my head where the anesthesia injection site was (mostly when I'm lying on my back at night). I thought this would go away by now since there was no cutting of skin rather just needle injection. Is this normal for that area to still be tender and painful after a week? Thanks. Senior Member hair_care Posted September 18, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 18, 2009 It is quite normal for you to feel tenderness and even a bit of pain for almost a month after a HT. So relax . Try not to lie on your back at night and try sleeping sideways. My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Feller
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted September 18, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 18, 2009 Yeah, give it time. It does take awhile for things to get back to normal. After my first surgery, I was numb on the top of my head for about 3-4 months.
