Wait,

 

Dr. Lorenzo actually uses a slightly modified version of the Choi called the Hans Lion implanter. Fun fact: he actually helped design it for his specific FUE protocol. I think implanter pens have improved over the years. However, the overall consensus remains the same: it is not the tool that makes the procedure successful; it is the doctor and team using these tools. In practiced hands, like Lorenzo's or Doganay's, the implanter pen can produce solid results.

 

I'm personally a fan of pre- made incisions or "stick and place" with custom blades and forceps, but that's more opinion than anything else.
