tronxz28, I would get a second opinion. I'm assuming you saw a Mexican doctor. I've never heard of the products he suggested you use. If I were you, I would not use them. How near are you to California? Dr. James DeYarman is a recommended Dr. on this forum. He is located in San Diego. I suggest you contact him . In fact, you can even do an online consultation with him via The Hair Restoration Network. Look for him under the listings of physicians. Keep us posted. Good luck. Terry.

I agree with terry.. I did have my HT with Dr Deyarman. He is very approchable about medicinal treatments regarding hair loss. He does have 20 years experience in the realm of HT and treatment, (ie.. Propecia & Minoxidil). This is a very important time to make a decision. If you start a treatment regimen, should continue it for years.. Propecia and Minoxidil are the ONLY 2 medicines approved by the USFDA for hair loss treatment. They have been extensively tested and proven to have the effects that they claim. Get a second opinion with a recommended doctor from this forum! They are very good at what they do!!

Shiny Side Up!!

hey hi! im new to this forum and well..im ognna share my experience.

I start to lose hair when i had 21 years old (now im 23) im mexican and i went to see a mexican dermatologist and he recomended me avixis, now that im living in California i havent seen avixis, so im a go to see a doctor here to get a prescription to get propecia (maybe).

Since i've been using avixis my lost has decrease (after a year.

This is my background:

In my mother side none of my aunts or uncles have baldness problem, my dad side jus my dad (the older child) and also my grandfather(he start to llose hair in his 40's) my dad is hairy , big belly, drink and eat wwhatever he wants, he swet alot from his head, even tough he is bald, he still have tick hear, u can see it yet, without using any medicine, so he has keeping his little hair.

So any idea, why he is bald? his borther has hair, no too much, but u can see and say they are not bald. Maybe my problem is not that agressive or something like that.

thanks
