Senior Member PB Posted December 23, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 23, 2006 Hey GP, Thanks. I'm booked in for June and am going for everything Dr Feller can get. Unfortunately my donor is limited so it won't be a megasession (depending on what the official megasession number is nowadays)... hopefully somewhere close to the number of grafts I got with HT #1. Guest Cousin_It
PB... Excellent results! I am sure you are more than pleased with the results. Love the closeup of the hairline, totally undetectable. Any thoughts of a followup in the future. Has the "hair bug" bitten you?
ArnoldS
Great Results PB! I'm waiting for some resuts also from a Dr. Feller op. I don't know the exact count of grafts or how many hairs but, it was supposed to be approx 1500 in the front hairline area. Now, I just feel a bit stuck in the waiting game. I had my head buzzed down after the staples were out and I'm not loving my round-head chia pet hair right now. My front scalp has scattered wispy hairs at 6 weeks and some old native hairs growing back.......still looks weird, pink , and shiny. Thank you for sharing your results! So, you still want more? Senior Member NervousNelly Posted December 24, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted December 24, 2006 PB, Truly amazing work by Dr. Feller. It is quite the transformation and I'm sure that you are extremely happy with the results. As I always harp about it--If you are capable of such excellent photos and a detailed progress, why can't the docs do it. Their office managers need to wise up. Thanks a tonne for the great post. Have a great holiday. NN Dr.Cole,1989. ??graftcount Dr. Ron Shapiro. ArnoldS
Hey Nervous. I agree with you on the photo sessions. In fact they should invite you in and give you some hair goodies for showing up. You know....like some rogaine foam or some nice shampoo etc.. The more successful before and after photo journeys these guys have to show, the more potential for their business to grow. Peace. Senior Member PB Posted December 24, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 24, 2006 Thanks for all the kind comments everyone Yes I want more and I'm booked in with Dr Feller for June '07 to get the rest of my donor grafts moved up there. I'm hoping to add a bit more density to my hair line and perhaps slightly widen the "V" at the front. The rest will go in behind HT #1 to give me more coverage on top for when I lose more hair. I'm from Europe, so popping in to see Dr Feller for photo sessions isn't possible for me. Don't worry ArnoldS, 6 weeks is around the worst time (as you can see from my photos) but it will soon take off and you will notice a big difference every week after that. I also had problems with redness due to my fair skin, but the normal color returned after a few months.
Senior Member NervousNelly Posted December 24, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted December 24, 2006 PB, Another session will only be gravy. Things look great now so a little more density and alterring the hairline will top things off. Has doc Feller mentioned how many more FU you have in the donor area? My point of the pics is that it is awesome that you have done this on your own and when capable I think the docs should do more of it. Thanks again. NN Dr.Cole,1989. ??graftcount Dr. Ron Shapiro. Senior Member PB Posted December 25, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 25, 2006 Thanks NervousNelly and hairroot! NervousNelly, I'm going for all Dr Feller can get. My donor is limited and Dr Feller estimated that I only have 2000 left. I have discussed having a second scar in an area of virgin scalp in the hope of being able to get more than 2000. My first scar isn't visible even with much shorter hair than I usually have and the second scar will be tricho so will not be visible at all, so having two separate scars isn't a problem for me as I don't want to buzz cut my hair. We won't know for sure until next June though, when I get in the chair again. Hairroot, how's your 2nd FUE HT coming along? Are you sprouting yet? Has your HT #1 hair grown back well?
