skit
I have been following these pages for some months researching the option of a transplant. I have communicated with people on the forum and it was extremely helpful in making my decision which ended in my procedure of 4769 grafts with Dr. Wong on August 24th. First, I'd like to say that H&W was fantastic. I know the people on this forum like to sing their praises, but it is completely deserved. My whole experience was top notch from moment one. Dr. Wong is very talented and the clinic is simply fantastic, a very professional atmosphere. Everyone present at the clinic made me feel comfortable, and better still, confident. Despite considerable research, I still had doubts until meeting Dr. Wong and visiting the clinic. I am now five days after the procedure and feel excellent about the decision. It is hard for me to imagine having chosen a different place or different doc. The only glitch, if one can call it that, is that I swelled up in my forehead and face. Despite being warned, it was a bit uncomfortable for a couple of days. Luckily, the eyes didn't shut and it seems to be behind me now. I am adding this post to thank all of those that were helpful to me in my research and decision process and offer my perspective and experience for those interested. I'll post some pics in a couple of days, as I know that's what people look for.
