Hair Transplants - Proscar = Problems????

The problem isn't that you will lose any transplanted hair- That's there to stay. The problem is if you lose hair behind or below the transplanted hair. (i.e. you keep receding...) Then you'll have hair on top- a gap where you've lost more hair- then you will have the hair below.

I take propecia to hang on to my crown- Since I had work done in the front- If I quit taking propecia- I'd lose more in the crown- And would probably have to go in to have the crown filled in with another procedure... Make sense I hope?

Besides your crown, it's incredibly helpful to keep the hair on the sides too!

The higher the sides are, the better!

The more natural hair you can hang onto with medications, the better your overall appearance will be.
