Regular Member royrover Posted March 27, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted March 27, 2009 Sorry for the Hiatus guys.. I was in and out of town so much that i couldnt keep up with the Updates.. Here is my 5 Month mark. Absoloutly Ecxtatic. I had never imagined myself keeping spiked up hair.. burned all the hats. Its amazing how i put gel in my hair every morning( Ia m guessing this is ok).. a pinch of toppik does the rest. Been for 5 months on Proscar I am very satisfied.. Hopefully the density increases in the comoing months and my crown gets filled up soon I wished i had a little bit more frontal hairline. You guys are the best to comment on that . I am guesing my 4876 grafts were not enough to get every bit of the frontal too But yes guys please comment DR Wong you rock!! Senior Member Eman Posted March 28, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 28, 2009 From almost no hair to having hair...I can totally understand why you are ecstatic. You have many many more months of growth and maturation, so it is a ride you will continue to enjoy. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out... Raphael84
Roy, Congrats with the recent HT. Had to take a look at your weblog to remind myself where you had started. But at only 5 months, you are showing great results. Great graft count and coverage area from Mr Wong. As Im sure you have seen, that most reports of crown work realise results after a greater length of time, so be patient with the crown for a while longer and enjoy as your hairline and midscalp thicken. Bill - Seemiller
Roy, It's great to see you back and posting an update on your results. Everything looks terrific for only 5 months. I look forward to seeing how it turns out when it finally matures. Best wishes, Bill

Regular Member royrover Posted March 29, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 29, 2009 Thank you guys... I am totally satisfied.. not sure if I still feel like having a receeding hairline. The frontal could have brought down a little lower . A couple of my friends said that What do you guys think ? Senior Member Jotronic Posted April 2, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 2, 2009 RR, I'm really digging how your results have blossomed so far. As said above, five months is early so you have more improvements to come. Regarding the hairline placement, as you know there is a trade off with hairline height vs. coverage so if the hairline was lower then Dr. Wong would not have been able to go as far back as he did. Hairlines can always be lowered but they cannot be raised back up. Regular Member royrover Posted April 2, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 2, 2009 JT Absoloutely ... Thats why i said in my Post that i am ecstatic..and i totally agree to the hair coverage point you made.. Its just human nature of wishing more to what you achieved . There are only a couple of doctors who could have pulled off my case and Dr wong was on the top of my list. i am already planning on another one too My Hair Loss Weblog - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong
Regular Member TheKMan Posted April 3, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted April 3, 2009 Looking good RR. Still a few more months to go and density and thickness comes in the later part so exciting times ahead bud As for hairline, once they are all grown out, perhaps you could go for the second best option - a style that reduces the visibility of a receding hairline. With a full head of hair, a good stylist should certainly have some options. My Hair Loss WebLog - HT with Dr. Hasson
