  1. You are correct that Nick Cage's transplant looks horrible. Stallone had a transplant that looks terrible and now wears a hair piece to hide the deformity. I know the make up people can work wonders on screen but actors people have to live in a public setting. It could eventually ruin Cage's carreer unless he wears a hair piece to hide the transplant at some point.
  2. Your hair transplant posting does sounds like Sy Sperling from Hair Club for Men stating he is also a "client" Can we see a picture of your donor scar?
  3. Have you viewed the Woods process or a patient that had the Woods process? Otherwise, how are you able to make statements concerning donor scaring or transection rate?
  4. You are too young at 22 to have hair transplant surgery. Most hair transplant doctors appeal to the "keep up with your hairloss" concept. Any ETHICAL doctor would tell you to wait until your at least 30 or better to get an idea of when your hair loss establishes. Don't get sucked into the hair transplant sales pitch!
  5. If you scheduled the surgery for 2000 grafts and they took out 2500, they should install the overage free of charge. It was the doctors mistake that he took too much tissue with grafts. For the doctor to throw the extra tissue with grafts in the medical waste bin is a sin and unethical. It's also unethical for the doctor to pressure to PAY for the extra grafts as you are in a difficult position to make any decision while your head is full of holes and a strip cut out of your head all sutured up. Installing the extra grafts is no big deal anyway because the technicians do it. This scam is nothing more than a bait and switch sales method. The doctor should be reported to the state medical board.
  6. Seager is not worst hair transplant physician but there are better choices.
  7. For some people, including me, the pain and discomfort can last indefinately in the donor area. It depends how deep the doctor cuts into you.
  8. "Don't be fooleed by fools" The world must be full of fools because many people have had sub standard hair grafting surgery. "Take you time and get up to speed. Send for Dr. Rassman and Bernsteins marketing package which includes "The Patient's Guide To hair Restoration." I understand Dr. Bernstein is good and Dr. Rassman is not.
  9. You should be skeptical and do not trust hair transplant doctors. I among many others regret the surgery.
  10. Who did your privious transplant that you needed corrective work? You should let people know so they will avoid that doctor.
  11. What is there to understand about artificial hair implantation? The procedure was banned for good reason in the US. Severe infections and life threatening illness resulted. I hope this process is not being considered for a return visit by the medical community?
  12. No offense. But how can you realize how good or bad your hair transplant is until you have completely healed and the hair has grown to length? I felt the same way about my surgery when I left the doctors office and when the healing was complete and the hair grew it looked terrible and have to live with the results. I wish you all the best and hope you are happy with the results but your comments are premature.
  13. I stand by my statement that woman are not candidates for the surgery. Dr. Bernstein has commented on this and Spencer's book also mentions female hair transplant surgery as not being effective.
  14. Females are not recognized as candidates for hair transplation as females usually have difuse thinning.
  15. I experienced this also and still do to some extent. Cold seems to make it worse.

    Enough.

If your under 30 you should not consider hair transp[lant surgery. You should wait as long as possible or even not have the surgery. There are to many people that regret the surgery including me.
