  1. U r a student, so i would say wait t (since you are a student, i assume you are young) wait till you find a job, then decide on it.
  2. i suggest you to do a little more research on this before taking decision on HT
  3. now lets get back to the 2 scar thingy..... i haven't seen this before. 2 strips taken for 1 transplant????? How does this benefit?????
  4. Thanks to you and Pat for the hard work. Pink
  5. Dear Pat, pls do look for more doctors from India... Its a big country and just 1 doctor is never enough. Regards, Pink

  7. I am very happy to see a doctor from India. I hope more and more doctors from India will make it to list. Thanks Pat and Bill...u have not just given us a doctor but you have given many guys HOPE and Saved thousands from making a wrong decision. Pink

  9. never ever heard of this doctor. Seems to be a promotional post.
  10. Can't decide, Try taking Zinc rich diet, Zinc is the best natural DHT blocker. Fish, eggs, Cashew Nuts, Oysters, Pine Nuts etc are all rich in Zinc.
  11. J789, some discussions about nuhart can be found in this form. Go through the link http://hair-restoration-info.c...6060861/m/4291030072
  12. I took treatment from Dr Batras and i would suggest you to stay away from Dr Batras and their tie up NU/HART clinic
  13. t-gerry, head size does not matter cause when you go bald you loose almost 60% of your total hair. I am Talking about NW 5 and above
  14. Thanks phxind..... I too went to Dr Batra's for 2.5 years. They say once u have tried Homeopathy very unlikely for the allopathic meds to work on you and vice versa (this was told to me by a doctor). I am just not willing to take the risks of side effects allopathic meds have. I will be following your progress and this will help me to decide to go for a HT or not.
  15. 5% minoxidil not interested to take Propeica due to the risks however making it up with lots of Zinc Rich Food. Zinc is a natural DHT blocker
  16. Hello People, If there is any Indian (Asian) out there who has done HT with the above reputed Doctors, kindly post your results. I am so confused as to what i should do. 1) No good doctors in India 2) Dr. Wong has given reasons that Asian hair is more difficult to work with in one of the posts. http://hair-restoration-info.c...=443100631#443100631 3) Dr. Feller has said that Asians have less hair in the donor area 4) Atomic (Veteran Real Hair Club Member) has said that being Asian i should be more concerned about the scar. What are the options now? Is being bald the only choice for me? Just say I'm an NW 5 or a 6 is there no way i can get a HT done without any worries?

  18. Atomic thanks, I will need more than 3000 i guess. May be m a NW 5 or a 6 and I am a diffused thinner
  19. yes Ahmed, there might be an excellent doc here in India unfortunately we are not able to spend time and find one. Just a word of caution to Pat and Great Docs in US who are doing an excellent job. THE DAY WE FIND A GOOD DOC IN INDIA BE AWARE, YOU ARE GOING TO GET A STIFF COMPETITION AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RUN FOR YOUR MONEY. YOUR PATIENTS WILL GET OUTSOURCED..... LOL
  20. having good qualification and being member of various organizations does not guarantee excellent results. One can pay some amount and become a member i guess. I have no idea about Dr A. This website has a graphic calculator which you can use to determine how much graft you need.
  21. hi, even i am thinking of considering this doctor. How good is he on Asian / Indian? One concern is that i haven't seen much of 3000+ g by this doctor.
  22. t_gerry, y r u wasting time on this? No HT is of 100% success and u must stay away from them who say 100% success and no side effects. Not just in S India Bald pple are all over the world so just relax. Baldness is not a disease. I suggest you do a lot or research. Go through this site read about each and every thing. I am doing it from the past 5 years. I was so desperate to get HT done from Venkatram Mysore however when i asked one of his patient he din give a good review about him. During the operation the Dr was so much in a hurry to finish off with the operation. I had asked him to post his exp here unfortunately he didn't . Traveling to Thailand would cost u a lakh more. I suggest you have a lil patience save money and book an appointment with a good doctor. Remember as some1 said in this forum and I quote " even worse then being bald is getting a bad hair transplant" un quote.
  23. Whilst A,B,C would indicate high standards and results - you would avoid D ! Even if he has posted a few good results, is a member of the coalition, member of ISHRS, has a great CV and impressive website. Mop, if a doctor who is a coalition member and still a D why should he be in the coalition list in the first place??????????? The idea contradicts what this website stands for. If they are recommended here then go for those doctors (its as good as them getting an A or B)
  24. Tgerry, Stay away from them and also Dr. Batras. I took homeopathy treatment from Dr Batras but with no results. I would suggest you to wait save money and travel to Thailand and meet Dr. Pathomavanich
