As you might have seen in other threads, I am having my 2nd HT on the 10th with Dr. Cooley. I wanting to add density in the front and coverage in the crown. Would love everyone's opinion on how many grafts you think I need. Thanks

Fun question. I started looking at this site several months back trying to pick a doc for my 2nd procedure. It is not an easy task...I have looked at numerous HT pics done by the docs listed on this site. All have looked pretty amazing making my decision very difficult. You are right...the ones you listed are very popular on here but I looked at many of the others and all seem to be doing excellent work. In the end, I decided to go with Dr. Cooley (13 days and counting). Back to the question...IMO, Dr. Gabel and Dr. True seem to be doing really great stuff and I don't see them mentioned that often. I will post my pics in the coming months. Randy

Looks great! I agree...would go back and add a little more to the crown but the front is looking very nice. You like your hairline? I will be in Dr. Cooley's chair in 13 days.

what's your thoughts on Dr. Cooley's hairlines? Also, any thoughts on lateral slit vs needle?

"fairly enjoyed it"? Was your only dislike the new person? I did not actually do an in person consultation. I did spend quite a bit of time speaking with Aileen who was very helpful and also with Lollie (I think she is the new person you mentioned).

Just a quick thanks to everyone for posting pics and discussing their experiences with the different surgeons. I had my first HT in 2004 with Dr. Griffin. Well, it's time for a second one...need to fill in the crown some and add a little density to the hairline. After much research and reading on this site, I've decided on Dr. Jerry Cooley. I have been really impressed with his work...appears to be one of the top HT surgeons. If anyone knows different...please say so now since I am only about a month out! I had also considered Dr. Feller, Wolf, and Konier being they also have excellent reputations and are located on this side of the country. Again, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone...it was a tremendous help having this site available. I will post some pics in the coming months. Randy
