  1. I read that scar stretching can correspond to the laxity or ability of the donor skin to stretch . If this is so how come we do scalp exersises to get larger donor strips ?
  2. I read about Dr. Pathmanovich SP.? in Thailand . On the website under technique it talks about his Open Technique . That is cutting out the strip while keeping the hair follicles visualised . It seems that he did this at Hasson and Wong's clinic and Dr. Wong endorses him . Is this a common technique used among doctors in the HT field ? It seems to be a way to preserve donor follicles during the strip removal process .

  4. hmmmmm ? I am not sure about all of this . It sounds like the classic questions we all have heard . No offense . this is a good place to get info . Did you pay for the Propecia or was it covered by a health insurance plan for use by a minor in the US . Be sure your doctor fully informs you of any possible effects this medication may have on your development . Again I am sorry if I sound mean . I must read too much . DO NOT GET A TRANSPLANT AT 17 or even 18 . Research and be sure you can halt most future hairloss first . I did and it was the worst move I ever made bro .
  5. I have read about FUE being used to remove large grafts. Is it possible to remove cobblestoning this way? What I mean is it feasable to use a punch to remove just the top excess portion of a big graft that lies above the skin and reduce the circular appearence while not going in deep to get the follicles out? I know that the tools used for FUE are around 1mm. But for larger plugs that have round bumps of raised tissue can the top be punched off with a larger tool and leave the follicles behind for growth and possible softening by adding smaller grafts in front of them? I wonder if this may be an alternative to dermabrasion or coring.

  7. I was interested if the tightness of a persons scalp in the recipient area can have an effect on the cosmetic outcome of grafting into the area in regards to the appearence of the scalp surface. Would a tighter scalp be more prone to a raised bit of tissue around the grafts. Do the techs placing grafts have to apply longer pressure when inserting to set the grafts? Would a lateral slit or a needle making the insertion sites also be a factor when trying to avoid bumpiness taking into account using FU's properly trimmed ?

  9. Hi Dodgedabullet, did you have a forehead lift to exclusively remove large plugs or to raise your existing hairline in preparation for future hairline work as not to make it too low? Is this a similar procedure to say a linear plug excision where the person Dean got his hairline excised?
