Trainer444n4 ,, I suggest you immediately contact the surgeon involved and ask for corrective surgery or another free H/T .
Finally out of curiosity who was the DR ????

I am now approximately 8 months post-op and have experienced some growth. My H/t growth has been a little slow comming but Im sure by 12 months post-op I'll be fine, that'll include thickness and maturity etc. I must admit the wait has been agonizingly long . You have days everything looks fine and some days not so fine so you have your ups and downs untill you experience the real thing (real growth). Basically, patience is the essence. " [All good things come to those who wait] " after all patience is a virtue.

I ve noticed some surgeons plant grafts in nice uniform rows while others plant grafts randomly willy nilly. I there a reason for this if so what is the most prefered method.

Great results F/S looks nice and clean. I like the way DR B,F has planted those grafts in a very natural looking order.
Good luck

Is it possible to have a H/T without buzzing or cutting down the existing hair.

Nabil man, surgery isnt as expensive as you think , it worked for me and im a student on a budget, and im contemplating a 2nd H/T .

Thanks for that fixing it, I think I get the picture.

Excuse my ignorance Bill, but when you mention transection does this literally mean the death of that hair. What worries me is are their people out there who would transect and then plant those hairs into the scalp, which would ultimately lead to a significantly low yeilding rate or even nothing. Please correct me where I may have a wrong understanding.
-
I like the way the hair has been placed. I mean not blind planting anywhere and everywhere. Seems like your final results are going to be fabulous.
All the best.

Does disecting natural family hair groups i,e 2/3/4's into singulars, damage the follicle or reduce the yielding rate, can this be justified. Not that I think its a good idea. Any experts please feedback.

Cheers NW4recession.
Im hoping that the sprouting continues over the next 6 months. Ideally this will include maturing and texture because at 6 months with 50% growth the hair is still a little whispy in places. According to Dr H I should expect another 50% growth spurt in the comming months. Im pretty confident 6 months from now I'll be able to post the final results, before I contemplate of going back, this time for density. After all the surface area covered was relatively large.
-
Yes your right, it definately does put things into prospective. According to DR H this is the 50% growth stage 6 months, so its just a case of waiting for the remainder 50%. Im hoping the grafts just keep sprouting over the next 6 months.
In the mean time I have a question open to the panel. my scalp feels as though it has many pimples when I press the surface. The funny thing is that they are not visible as pimples. Just tiny red blemishes under the surface???.
Finally growing the hair out is also now on the cards. I think I may allow this process to take its course around December time.

It would be best to send the pics to me so I can upload them on to my blogg. By uploading these pics it would give veiwers a much better indication and an overall evaluation regarding the H/T.

Im hoping on my next visit there will be much more to come as I will be looking for density. Im pretty confident after my 2nd H/T great results will emerge hopefully by December 2009.
-
Cheers guys I must admit many people have asked me for pre op pics. What I will do is contact DR H and see if he has any, as he did take a few shots before the op. I suppose that would give a better indication as to what you are veiwing pre-op and post-op..

Im now 6 months and 1 week post op. I still get the the odd few pimples here and there over the scalp and also in the scar line. Any feed back welcome guys, good /bad.

Young-guy , just tell her your a diamond with a rough cut that needs smoothing as that explains your hair cut.

I will be uploading some more shots by the end of November or December to give you an indication as to how things have progressed. In the meantime, the scar line has thinned a little. There has been some more growth, but pain-stakingly slow. I am still getting pimples over the scalp area and also in the scar area itself. Many of the grafts producing hairs are growing but at uneven rates, some are whispy and some are thick, a combination of both. I suppose the maturity, texture, etc will be some time yet, after all, its only been 6 months 1 week. One of the main aspects of this whole H/T experience has been learining how to be patient. Im optimistic by the end of a 12 month period I'll have good results, thats going of what I have seen and experienced so far, although I did have my reservations in the beginning, "LOL"

10 months post -op still a little thin and patchy , maybe the area was just too big and 3250 isnt exactly a lot f0r a NWS6. I may consider another just to give it that density look.
