I am nearly 16 months since my 1st H/T and nearly 5 months with my 2nd H/T. I have also noticed inceasing amounts of hair on my clothes, comb, bath and in the shower and these are transplanted hairs, must admit it sucks but then again what else can you do except ride it out or start the meds.

Thanks for the post , things are now making sense.

Then all of a sudden we were out of shower usage for 7 days, with my hair yucky, sticky and filled with gel and hairspray. I came home early and the first thing I did was jump in the shower. I have NEVER lost so much hair at once in the shower in my life.
That's when the biggest difference from thickness to see-through thinness was seen.
Was this possibly dut's shedthroughout that week but coudl not fall out because hairs were stuck together and all of sudden a weeks worth of shedding came out in the shower?
Or did the hairspray and gel actually destroy my transplanted hair?
Correct me if Im wrong but I feel the latter part of your conversation explains the former.

I must admit I also do feel little anxious at times considering I am now approximately 4 months post op 2nd H/T. I suppose when another 4 months pass hopefully things will begin to take shape.

Have any of you had H/T dreams?
I know this may sound crazy/bonkers but I actually saw my self in a dream 2-3 times with a head of hair and that was 3 years ago. My 1st H/T was 15 months ago.

1- Abbey, isnt that the stuff women use on eye lashes and if so would not that tiny brush u use take forever if ur hair is really thin or am i missing something?
2- out of the so called big three which would be the least chalkey and my hair is short? I currently use dermatch and while it works it has many draw backs
Thanks
The brush isnt exactly small, It takes about 2/3mins to apply, you simply start at the root to the tip. I usually start at the front and work in rows. After its application I usually apply a damp comb to the hair and comb it back before it drys causing hair to stick to one another. It lasts 3/4 days and dosent rub off on clothes or pillow at night and doesnt colour the scalp and isnt chalky. sometime I also apply a a very small amount of Nanogen , just a sprinkle and that really really gives it a good final touch
When using the product you dont have to use all of the contents 3-4 dips are more than enough.
When you apply it again the following day , which is much less than which you started with, it gives hair more body.
My women told me there is a newer version mascara maxfactor/Loreal ???? x14.
I think Ill upload a pic to give you an idea.
I would also like to say I am not an agent for these products, its something that sprung to my mind once watching a TV advert (Eureka!!!) It works for me and I dont see why it can not work on short hair.

Does anybody know or heard of people loosing everything after a H/T. I mean completely gone bald for good.??????? I hope this isnt true, as I and many others have come a long way.

Does every person who has had a 2nd h/t suffer from seasonal shedding. This shedding is it a life long thing or just once or twice after a h/t. Do people with native hair suffer from this. Finally does transplanted hair also experinece the hair cycle.

Could be seasonal shedding. Ive had my 2nd H/T and have noticed bits of hair in my comb, not sure if its shock loss of 1st H/T at 3.5 months or seasonal shedding??????? its bugging me and thats for sure.

Does seasonal sheddings affect everybody or is it just people who have had H/Ts. 2ndly does this happen every year for reast of one's life???.

Im trying to get some decent close up shots in natural light so I can uplaod more pics. I am also waiting for my 2nd H/T to come through and blend in with my 1st H/T which I believe is going to be at least another 4 months. I am 3.5 months post - op with 2nd H/T.
-
Yes I agree I definately need some close up shots like my previous ones. Im hoping to upload some clearer pics in the next couple of days, top back & sides with close up shots outside.
-
These are my latest pics . I would also like to mention I am 3.5 months post op with 2500 grafts from my 2nd H/T which will be more visible in few months time. Unfortunately the camera I used was little fuzzy ??? so I willl be uploading some much closer and clearer shots soon as possible,

Abby, sounds interesting - what brand and do you do the hair only or the scalp also?
Max factor mascara x7 or x12 black . Just use the mascara brush, and brush it on to the hair. Its water proof smudge proof and gives the illusion of very thick hair and thats no bull.
I simply brush it on to the hair not the scalp, then I simply comb it back with a damp comb, does the trick for me. I sometimes sprinkle a very small amount of Nanogen to give it a real lush look.
After my 2nd H/T grows out and hopefully everything works out well , I am pretty sure ill keep using it even after.
my most recent pics will be uplaoded very shortly, so you will get to see what I mean. Hoping to do this by next week, so watch this space.
My women told me they are also doing a mascara by Loreal x14 that is real thick and again water proof. the other good thing is it lasts for at least 3-4 days and does not cover your bed pillow at night.
Thanks!

Very interesting reading,

Like I explained to Bill, its not comming out in clumps. I have only recently noticed the odd few hairs 3-4 on combing or washing. The suprising thing is I was about a 6 on the Norwood scale with hardly any hair on my scalp. I am aware that 1st H/T can suffer from shock but not as much as the native hair. Maybe it its been happening for a while and ive only realised now at 3 months post op.

Are their any products that help rejuvenate lifeless hair and promte healthy hair???????

I have recently noticed at least 4-5 hairs in the bath after a shower is this normal???? especialy when I run my fingers through my scalp, when wet.
Does transplanted have the same characteristics as normal hair after a H/T op, i,e strength in follicles attaching to scalp or are they some what weaker????. I am a little worried any replys welcome.
Thanks

How long does seasonal shed lasts

I think I may be experinecing a seasonal shed, I meandiscovering more hairs in my comb pillow bath etc and thats not just the top its from the back and sides.. I was wondering does anyone know how long does a seasonal shed last and is this a normal part of hair physiology that affcets everyone across the board. Obviously we guys would notice it a little more that others as we have had H/Ts that are usally based on strategic placing of grafts and crating an illusional affect.
