  1. Did they touch on why can't I get my patients to go for their sixth surgery or how to turn a no into a yes this year? To not allow Pat to be there reaks of secrecy and underhandedness.Patients need to know what they have up their sleeves to protect themselves. We are who they are SELLING to.Maybe they feel we are better kept in the dark and write checks to them in blind faith. Sorry to say most have abused that priveledge to a tragic degree. Why don't we boycott hair transplants for a month or two in protest of them not allowing an advocate into the meeting.

I'll keep everyone up to date with my progress.

I don't think you will be dissapointed if that is your goal.Good luck

  3. I am going to donate my scalp to science to show how much destruction can be done by an unethical slob of a "doctor" (Wild Bill Magdalin) Maybe I will confront his family to show them his handywork, the computer makes for a small world. Anyway hair can only be donated from an identical twin to the other.

  4. The ABHRS is not a ligitamate board of medicine. It is not recognized by the AMA. It was created after the FTC was about to do an audit. There is no disipline administered nor do they sanction doctors. It involves a written test and several doctors claim to be board certified when they become members. Its function has thus far been to mislead the public and allow non-certified doctors to claim *Board Certified* when they are not.

  5. Robert- I am making suggestions to provide proper patient education possible. Right now we are trying to incorporate an educational video that shows the strip exision. I am trying to work this forum into it as an educational tool.As stated before alot of prospects don't know it exists and go to the horses moulth, or in my case the horses a$$ to fill in the gaps of their research.

  6. I have had three laserings on my forhead to remove mini-plugs. Each time the hairs are smaller but you can see the graft/plug. I had no redness so far. You must be careful who is doing it just like a h/t or you may have problems as hairworthy stated. I should not have given you off hand medical advice.I just want you to know that 500 can be reversed if you are unhappy. One thing I will say is that if you are unhappy don't build on them to make it look better.I know someone who did that. Six surgeries later, each one bigger than the last until he ran out of donor hair just behind his ear (halfway point).

  7. I am trying to incorporate the use of this forum into a bill. I only found it 4 days after I was badly butchered by MHR.It took me 3 of those days to find it.Although I was not into computers at the time, it was more for the kids and e-bay, I only found h/t propoganda up to that point. If I had been able to ask questions instead of believing what a doctor had told me I would never have done it at the n/w 2 stage I was at the time.I also think alot of people do cursory research and expect the doctor to fill in the gaps instead of twist it to their advantage. I asked tons of great questions ,inluding microscopes,I was lied to on every one of them and subsequently permenently disabled. I wonder how many people this forum has saved and get a chill at how many have missed it. I am still trying to find the 16 year old girl "Dr." Magdalin did and pray for her on occasion and of course that he recieve a similar fate. One thing I would recommend that Pat also do in his screening is to assure that the doctors are educating the patient properly. As Dr. Shapiro states the work could be great ,but if it is not what the patient expected they will be unhappy. This is more important than technique.

  8. No, Unethical physicians play fast and loose with terminology. May even show you a microscope. But a micro-mini graft is usually cut in the back by a McDonalds type character with funny glasses an some cheap backlighting.Concerned with quiting time not your head. Keep up with your research.

  9. harleygirl, I checked out their website. They are not leaders in the field. Its marketing.Laser hair transplantation is not better and has several drawbacks.Keller is not board certified in any disipline and merely completed a fellowship at ILHT. You keep asking about him. Did he tell you everything you wanted to hear or something? You will have to travel to get the best doctor in this field.Being as your a female why don't you call Dr. Sharon Keene and ask her some questions.I have heard many female disasters don't become a newly rising statistic.

  10. People that have lasic surgery or breast implants are protected to some degree. They are given information booklets given the consent form in advance and in some cases required to watch an educational video. Those specialties are regulated. Hair transplants are not. The mistake was not yours it was the doctors . Filling temples is taboo. On a 21 year old with early hairloss it is highly unethical. One the bright side you may be able to reverse the doctors mistake and poor judgement with a series of laserings and some micro-dermabrasion. Who was the doctor/clinic that put the first cut on you?
