  1. Couldn't agree with TC more! I am from Ireland and would have went to a poor HT doctor here if I hadn't found this website. I did a lot of research and narrowed my search down to a number of doctors. Farjo in Manchester looked good, Feller in NY looks really good and Rahal in Canada seems quality. I also looked at Devroye in Belgium but eventually settled for Feriduni in Belgium. From forum members on here and pics I've seen he does really good hairlines. Even though they say travel should not be an issue I think that Belgian Doc's (Feriduni and Devroye) are as good as US/Canada docs. Will hopefully be able to confirm this this time next year!!
  2. Looks really good. The density should be fantastic when fully finished growing! You certainly have put me at ease about choosing Dr Feriduni.
  3. The Office is such a good show! Nver noticed the HT until now. Feel that I am constantly looking at celebs (of a certain age) now trying to figure out if they have had a ht.
  4. Thanks guys for your replies! Much appreciated. I have been thinking about it for quite a while and hope to make my decision within the next few weeks!
  5. Hi all, I have viewed Dr Feriduni's work online and I am very impressed. I am thinking of choosing him for my HT. Am particularly impressed with his hairline work. However, there have been no positive (or negative) patient reviews after a year posted. Does anyone have any experience of him first hand? Would be grateful for your responses!

  7. Thanks Irish numpty. Farjo does seem to be doing excellent work.
  8. Hey guys, Am also from Ireland. Am 28 and have been shedding for about 8 years now. From my research Dr Feriduni in Belgium looks good. Has anyone had any experience of him?
  9. I use both a pill cutter and a sharp knife. I find the knife more accurate in terms of getting the pieces as even as possible. Pill cutter usually cuts unevenly or ends up crushing part of it. Maybe I need a better pill cutter but the knife does the trick!
  10. Thanks Aska. I had considered that but wasn't sure if it was possible.
  11. Hi, This topic may have been covered already and is mainly a question for Pat. After Pat's visit to Dr Feriduni's clinic he said: "I found it interesting that never uses four hair follicular unit grafts since he believes that they are too large to provide an optimal illusion of naturalness. In fact, he said that he believes that procedures using only 1 and 2 hair grafts provide the ultimate in naturalness" That sounds good but when the strip is removed does the doctor just throw away all the 4 fus? Isn't this a bit of a waste?

  13. Xxy and mmhce thank you for your responses. I will stay off it just in case but good to know it will not cause excessive bleeding. Also good to know that some guys take a break from it from time to time. Mmhce, I would imagine he should know but to be fair to him I didn't go into much detail and didn't say it was finasteride. My own GP didn't know what proscar was until she looked it up.
  14. Hi all, I have started taking a quarter tablet of proscar daily for the past month or so. However I have a small surgical procedure coming up shortly (non hair related) and my surgeon told me not to take proscar for ten days before as he said most hairloss drugs increase blood flow and may cause excessive bleeding during/straight after the operation. He didn't know much about proscar but said this as a precaution. Should I stop taking it to be on the safe side? Your thoughts would be appreciated!
