  1. thats the only issues i am facing uptil now with the clinic, that i am not able to receive the marked pre op pictures from the clinic even after repeated reminders by phone/emails, that lead to the delay in posting here, as i waited for few weeks to receive the pre op pics, very annoying.
  2. There are some question if you guys can help me with:- 1) its 4.5 weeks now and my 50% of transplanted grafts refuse to fall.Is this enough time to know that they will not fall at all? If yes than i would like to go for a trimming of overall hairs to make my hair even from all parts. 2) The doctor shaved the crown and sides joining the crown to front before implanting the grafts.I was told that the shaved hairs will grow back in 2-3 weeks but i think i had a lot more hairs in those area compare to which is showing now.Is this shock loss? If yes what is the time frame for recovery? 3) Like all doc i was also recommended 5% minoxidil and finasteride 1mg. I am already a user (in and out) for 5% minoxidil which i am continuing now. But i have tried finasteride - Finpecia from Cipla in India in the past. But i had the same side effects as many others hence i stopped after taking for 1-2 months. It took 7-8 months for me to recover fully and a big NO to this. I used this tablet 1 mg/day. So I am seeking alternates solutions from you as i know that holding what we have got is equally important. 4) Any recommendation for faster healing of red dots/scar from the white hair removal from the chest? Thanks.

I have a lot of body hairs and they as as thick as my head hairs hence i decided to go for a aggressive hairline so that i can use my body hairs for touch up at back of my hairline from time to time. Not to forget i have few more available at my head donor area as well. @Future_HT_Doc Thanks. Will sure update. 4. Hello, I am 33 Male from India. 1 ) I had a hair transplant surgery with Dr Prabdeep Sohi ( Revivia Clinic ) in Chandigarh, India on 17 th December 2012. I had 3V condition. No. of Grafts used as per doctor:- 3100 (1800 grafts front, 1000 grafts crown & 300 grafts sides joining the crown to temples) Method used:- FUE pictures are on my blog link below:- Hair Restoration Social Network - Hair Loss Patient Blogs 2) I also had some white chest hairs which i got removed by FUE method after 10 days of my HT from the same doctor, understanding that BHT is common now and i have not heard much about visible life long scars (I hope i am right). I decided for white chest hair removal with this method as Electrolysis/thermolysis is time consuming multiple session method specially for such large area and Laser do not work on white hairs.

  6. I started using finpecia 1 mg everday and found within a month that i has a major sideeffect on me in terms of no sex drive; no erection , very low amount of semen. It almost felt like my lower part do not belong to my body. So i took a break and started taking finpecia 1 mg/every alternate day which only improved the situation a little bit.I continued that for a month and had to stop due to sideeffect. And after another break of a month i started taking .5mg/every alternate day but the side effect was still there only difference was that it imporved to 50% in compare to 10% when i was taking 1mg/everyday.So i quited finpecia fully within a month of my last experiment on dosage. So over all the above experiments were done in a six month timeframe. Its been 3 months now since i have left finpecia fully but my sideeffect is still there as my condition is still 50% capacity i.e decrease in sex drive; erection difficulty ; a decrease amount of semen. Does it takes more time to recover?Should i consult a doctor or should i wait?
  7. Also if someone has infomation on Dissolvable sutures? And if they have any issues? My biggest concern for Strip is i need to look for someone to remove my sutures when i return back to my country and i since i dont want to disclose my HT it would be a great dent to my plans.
  8. Dear latinlotus & Dewayne, thanks for your post. Dewayne :- I saw your pre HT pics and i have alomst exact situation as your crown and temple. Please let me know how many grafts you were recommended?Have you made a online consultation or personal as personal consultation should be more accurate? You have already done with your HT or you are yet to go for it?What costs/graft accourding to you is for strip? I am more inclined to Armani mostly coz of his good work on hairline.I myself have researched online a lot an realised that this forum specially has pointed some negative points about armani fue work.May be that is why i am not able to make my final decision for last 3-4 months. My positive points for Armnahi were/are:- a) 6.5$/graft for FUE (techs doing extraction). b) Surgery in Dubai which is quite convenient for myself being in INDIA.This also saves 70% on flight/stay costs/visa formalities compare to visiting USA/canada.Remember 1USD=43 INR c) If any touch up are required post HT than i can easily revisit Dubai (70% less cost to visiting USA/Canada) d) Since i want to keep my HT hidden from my family also so FUE has less recovery time and less suspicious in compare to have a strip scar. e)I am sure that this could be a risk that the yeild might be not as expected but i am sure this risk remains for strip surgeries also. Forum members views on this willl be highly appreciated..
  9. hello everyone, I m from India.I am 3V male age 30. Have been surfing for a while here and other forums.Narrowed my options to Dr Hasson,Dr feller and Dr armani. 1) I have been recommended 2000 grafts to 4500 grafts for frontal 1/3 and crown amongst these three so i do not know actually how much drafts i require? Inclined to Dr armani mostly coz of FUE and also that it is easier for me to visit Dubai from India.Another thing is that if i go for strip than i have to keep the staples on in my return journey and it would be awkward for me to remove them here as i am willing to NOT to disclose about my HT to anyone. Also would like to mention that 1 USD = 44 INR so it is very important to know approx how many grafts i would require as 2000 to 4500 is quite big differece to budget for. 2) I am also not sure if it will be OK for me to travel alone from India for HT as i am not aware if some assitance will be required by me immediately after HT? 3)Since i have never been out of India so i am also curious to know what information i have to declare on my visa if i am going for an HT? 4)In india Finpecia is available which works like propecia but.I tried for couple of weeks but it seems it is effecting sperm creation if i may say so here. Some advice will be highly appreciated.Thanks.

  11. Hello! Pretty new to this website. 29 Male from India.Looking for a Hair transplant. I have few queries:- 1) Who is the best surgeon in INDIA for hair transplant. 2) I have seen Dr. woods,Australia website (promotional link removed) and it seems impressive that they do not use strip technique. So no stiches are required. Can i know if this is the right method and is Dr woods can be the right surgeon for me? 3) Can anybody suggest approx how many drafts i would require to cover 7x7 cms of scalp fully and its cost. 4) Anyone from India who has been through successful hair transplant within or outside India and willing to cooperate. Your Feedbacks will be highly appreciated. Regards, jeets
