  1. Hey Tsakalos, You sound really low mate and I can understand why, dont give up just yet. I know its not much help but I know how your feeling.. and anyone that hasnt been in this kind of a situation wouldnt truely understand how low you can get when things dont go as you were told or expected. In my opinion, take Spex up on his offer to help you, and put you in touch with Dr Feller... what Dr Feller did for me was transform me from where you are now....to feeling a whole lot better about myself and my hair. At the very least, dont think that you should give up your goal of having the hair you was promised from the previous work... you can still get this sorted out mate.. and even if you think it looks bad now...what you have now, will be used as a good foundation to fill in between it and you wont even see the bits that you dont like anymore, speak to Spex. p.s Who did your previous work? Hang in there mate... you have help on hand...so take advantage of it
  2. Thanks mate, that gave me a big smile reading your reply ! cheers... I'm planning on making this a great summer...have a great one yourself and thanks again
  3. Thanks Raphael84 Quick update, enjoying the good weather lately....feels great to be out in it....I'm at around the 7 month mark now... here are some pics in the sun, I tried to get them as clear as possible... enjoy the good weather everyone whilst its here Everything's going really well, and looking back at how I was (a sad guy hiding in his room) this is a massive thing for me to be able to be in this position to style my hair in a way I like.. and just feel great about having hair! which is amazing feeling. I wish everyone well...and wish u the best possible results to everyone as I know how important it is to how well it makes you feel when ur happy with ur appearance. I forgot how I never took my cap off as its been so long now since I wore one thanks again to Dr Feller and Spex and all the awesome guys and girls that have helped me feel so much better about myself.
  4. Thanks for your post, well done in making a great decision.. I made the same decision and couldnt be happier...so you will be a happy chap when your nice new hair growth comes through
  5. Congratulations LC I think you look excellent and at 10 months there is more to come! I still found that my hair just kept improving in quality and getting better as it matured into its new 'home' it really does just keep getting better.. so keep us posted
  6. Sorry to hear you have been a victim Sparky.. (3 times!) your post will help many guys from the same fate with any luck. If he still goes to The Hospital Group after reading this, he's nuts. Take care mate.
  7. Bill, I want to commend you for the good work you are doing at protecting the 'false claims' from 'false posters' this is a really important job to be sorting out the honest from the false claims.. it shows just what lengths they will go to, to grab in people without any concern for there health or well being.. well done Bill. I really think this needs to be said and made clear that this is very serious issue for someone (mostly a newbie looking for some honest support) to believe what a poster is telling them to be true. ThinningBoldly, I only want to be 100% honest with you....and if you was my brother..a friend or even just someone in the street asking for advice.... I would tell you to grab your coat and RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THAT HOSPITAL GROUP CLINIC AS YOUR LEGS WILL CARRY YOU!! Before you make the biggest mistake of your life. This is my honest opinion and I have had 4 ht's and know what I am talking about, as I suffered a terrible HT in the UK that ruined my life for a long time! Please CANCEL.. there are some GREAT GENUINE people that can and will help you to achieve your goals. I am from the UK and I would definitely recommend you having a chat with Spex. I know its the best decision I made contacting Spex.. http://www.hairhelp.myzen.co.uk All the very best...you deserve the best so take your time... you dont need to rush this... the most important thing is you end up with the best natural result possible as you will have it for the rest of your life Just to show you what you have escaped happening to you, have a look at this guys experience with the Hospital Group.. (very similar to my own results in the UK) http://hair-restoration-info.c...861/m/7611093393/p/1 and you can see how great he is looking now! Your very lucky guy and wise to have researched them before you went ahead. Take care
  8. Hi Edie.. the guy that just helped you is the guy you want to speak to.. I am from the UK and I would definitely recommend you having a chat with Spex. I know its the best decision I made. Its not easy finding a genuine consultant who wont be pushing for the sell! I and 100's of guys from the UK have had consults with Spex.. and I can honestly say I am very grateful to him and all his support and for the head of hair I have now! All the best and sorry to hear about you getting the run around so far.
  9. Ian, I hear you....I thought the same thing!! Its great to see him looking fantastic now! I really do feel strongly about how pleased I am for guys like this. Its so great to see and hear how they have gone from a nightmare to living a happy life again. Its great! This is a great example of how Dr Feller and his staff have changed someones life yet again, not just there hair congrats mate.
  10. Hi Churchies, you have your head screwed on too well for the Hospital Group!! Well done to you sir!! Well the good news is now...you are in a great situation, there are a handful of top HT clinics that will give you an excellent result (not just promise one!) I am from the UK and I would definitely recommend you having a chat with Spex. 11. I was just about to say exactly the same... 7 months is far from the end result, at this stage its looking fantatsic...better than I did at this stage. Keep us posted.. the quality of the hair (naturalness) carries on improving way beyond a year ! I was seeing amazing natural looking hair improving all the time after the year marker. So your in great shape, all your looking for right now is the signs of growth and not to be concerned about the wavyness of the new hair as that will all happen later
  12. Well done in making a good choice...your in safe hands with Dr Feller and his techs. Please keep us posted sounds like another good result is in the making...all the very best to you
  13. Congrats mate, looks super natural in all conditions!! great to see.
  14. I wish I had scrolled up to look at your before pics more closely now... as you look really good! You must be over the moon with how natural and full your hair looks now! Congrats it already looks full and natural but there will still be even more thickening happening over the coming months... you look great
  15. Acrobaz, your right on target and looking even better than I was at this stage... everyone is different with there regrowth 'timing' but one thing which is the same is that even after a year... the hair then starts to become even more natural as it grows out and settles into its new home!! I am certain even 2 years after my 1st HT my hair quality is still becoming more and more natural until its undetectable between the native hair and the grafts. I think you look awesome at this stage and I like how your thinking realistically as its not always 1 pass... its great to hear you have a mind set as it sounds spot on to me.. having a touch in is really the icing on the cake in most cases. All the best and keep doing what your doing. I'm looking forward to seeing how things are going in the near future
  16. Thanks for all your kind feedback.. I'm very grateful to have got to this stage and a million years away from the guy I started off like.. very pleased I feel like a human again now it is a very good feeling.. thanks again.
  17. Hi Rob, Sorry to hear things are getting bad for you, you really are in far better shape than I was at 22! I know the feeling about being stressed out and depressed. I am very happy with my results and would definitely recommend you give Spex a call.. he's helped me a 100's of UK guys to grow there hair back where it belongs You might want to check out his website..and contact him for advice.. he wont push you into anything but a top guy and will help you to stop worrying about all this.. at the very least http://www.hairhelp.myzen.co.uk/ also...I just want to say...congrats in finding these forums!! Many UK guys go straight to a clinic without even researching them with very poor results (Like I did for my 1st HT) I wish I had known about them before sooner. All the very best.
  18. Here's a quick update, I took a few pics yesterday which is around 4.5 months post op. To compare before my repair with Dr Feller and now... Here is before.... (not good) ....and me today (or yesterday)... Here is a quick video of my hair after being washed and dried with no products.. my hairline has only just started to take off... by 6 months it should be looking even better.. http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k203/junkstuff001/2010%203rd%20Feller%20HT%20results/?action=view&current=Feb21st2010.flv I am really grateful to be able to wake up in the morning and not feel like crying when I look in the mirror anymore! Thanks to Dr Feller and Spex and all you guys for your support as it really helps...thank u. All the best everyone
  19. Hi MrMojoRisin, Firstly, WELL DONE !! You didn't believe what you were told by Tarquin!! He has given the same 'sales pitch' to 1000's of guys that have been less fortunate than you! (the ones that didnt walk away) In all the years I have read many HT forums I have never heard of 1 satisfied customer from The Hospital Group... only very upset and disappointed patients with terrible looking hair transplants and nasty scars To help answer your ques, 1. I think you may be having an unrealistic expectation if you are going to be a full NW7 (Cue ball) hair loss in a few years. It's possible to have coverage so you look a lot better but a full head of hair is a very big expectation. 2. I dont know about the meds you mentioned, but I take Finasteride daily which has prevented further loss for me. Meds are very worth considering in you case as its very likely you wont end up a 'cue ball' if you start them as soon as possible. I would do your research of these further as soon as you can as it sounds pretty important to you as you still have plenty of native hair at the moment. The ultimate goal is to retain as much of the native hair you have now than require more HT work than necessary. 3. I'm from the UK but decided to travel to Feller Medical in NYC for mine. I wanted the best I could find by one of the best anywhere around. In my TOP 3 choices, the best HT clinic's are based in USA/Canada in my opinion. You will need to do more research on this and find out how easy it is to travel to get the best possible result you can.. as you have to live with it and you'll be pleased you went to the best and not just the closest to home Good luck and I wish you all the best and well done for doing your research
  20. 3 months post FUE. Feels awesome to be able to completely forget about my hair now (never thought this would be possible a few years ago!) and to be able to do crazy styles again now, since the last recent HT.. My only worry is what style I am going to do these days! Has been a long hard journey but been worth it now. All the best with all your new hair styles! Take care.
  21. Just a quick update, 3 months post fue and now back to my pre op stage again now. All the donor area's are back to a nice full state just as it was before, even with a fairly low cut. Happy days and looking forward to the 6 months mark now... couldnt be happier I can just chill now and enjoy the results in the near future. Happy New Year everyone and best of growth and recovery etc....to all my fellow hair hunters! Take care guys hang in there! All the best.
  22. This in my opinion is THE BIGGEST LUXURY in the world when you have lost a lot of hair!! To be able to 'style you hair' again! just that alone is worth all the time, money and worry to reach the end goal!! Looking great mate!
  23. Hey Mgem, I remember saying exactly the same thing and you will forget you even had these thoughts in the end, its tuff but hang in there mate its worth the wait.
  24. Sorry I was late arriving to see this post! but what a great result... super natural result and great fullness... your crown must be exited with the prospect of whats to come!! Great work by Dr Feller and his staff... congrats mate
