Clay, As I've been told on this forum that shedding may start in a week and last till 3 months. I experienced shedding with in one week and it was same like 100 a day...but after a month the amount of hair came down and now i m loosing around 40 a day. Did you notice any decrease in the amount of hail you are loosing with the time or is it same like what it was at the beginning? If it is coming down then we hope it stops by three moth mark. Jupiter, I am using monoxidill from last 6 months I didn't notice that much shedding when I was using it alone. But when I added fin (two months back) lot of shedding I noticed.

Hi Karthik, As i read on net, fin will help you to keep what you have? It bolcks DHT which is cause for death of hair. Mintop will stimulate hair growth. I would sugest you to start both of them and after getting sufficinet growth you can stop mintop(as u have side effects) and continue with fin. I am not sure but try to find out some Ointment to block hair groth on face.

thanks for reply, Now I am not shedding that heavy. Initially there were so many miniaturized hairs used to shed...now not those many hairs but still loosing some. I do wait for six months .... Thanks,

Knal, I have tried minox initially...and did not see any results in 4 months period. Then I added finax to it and after one week my hair was shedding like any thing. I read on forum that shedding hair will come back and its the sign of meds working. And most of the hair I lost was miniaturized. Even meds are working but funny thing is that my hair has gone thinner (due to shedding). Its only two months back I started fin... I am trying to say that minox alone was not doing anything but when I added finax some thing (now shedding ...hope in future growth) has happened. Dats why i am asking you try them together and then decide. Best of luck...

Congrats Jupiter, Good to see your results...definitely it got improved. I think it gets much better by 1 year mark. I have one question foru you. I have started Minox and Fin 2months back. From one week after starting meds shedding started and it kicked off lot of hair. Now i am feeling more panik but i read on fourm that they will come back. Did you experience the same? At what time you felt that yo are back to the the level where you are started ( you felt that your lost hair due to meds came back)? It is killing me.... waiting for your reply....

Knal, Did you try minoxidill?? If not try that along fin . They both together give better results than single. Try them before quitting fin.

Naren, Finax stopes hair loss by blockong DHT. There is another solution called minoxidill (mintop here in india) which stimulates hair groth. This initially increases hair fall as all miniaturized hair goes off. I've started using Mintop 6 months back but didnt find any progress so i added finax 40 days back. Shedding started from on week after i started finax but all are miniaturized hairs. Tens of those hairs were not equvalant to single strong hair. No i m not loosing thosmany but still loosing some. Hope they will come back stronger I've read that soa beans also blocks DHT and other u can try is green tea. and dry fruits. (i am not taking these regularly). Try them...lets hope...they will help.

Matsuri, Try finasteride which may help you to keey ur growth. I was using same minoxidill for 4 months and didnt see any results(dont know how it would've been if i was not using it). And started using finasteride last month(25 days back)...I am loosing more and more hairs (which are thin miniaturized) but feeling that my hair got thicken. I dont know it is due to fin or Nizoral (started along with fin) but its looking thick. Do give a chance to finasteride.

Naren, I am not the right person to answer your question(As i dont have HT exp) still want to tell you what i read on this forum. People were talking about shock loss which is shedding of non transplanted hair due to HT (try to use find button to get more information regarding this). And read peoples experiences who are undergone HT. I hope somebody will answer your question exactly.

Naren, Dont take decesions this early. Before going to hve HT from any doctor do check for HT's done by them (either by meeting people or atlest pictures of them). As i read on this forum thre are different procedures for HT. So better get knowledge of which is best procedure and ask ur doctor which he is going to do? I think u have not enough knowledge on Finax(finasteride also), try to get that also. Read more and more before taking any step. All the best for ur marrieage.

Both of these result in relaxation of smooth muscle that controls blood vessels within the penis. This results in increased blood flow within the penis and both of these chemicals are positively influenced by testosterone. That is, without sufficient testosterone, there will not be enough NO and cGMP to create an erection. And do some people were saying that fin will remain in your body for 72 hours, so they were following 1 mg every alternate day.

Hi Frns, What would be better dosage of finasterdie. .5mg or 1mg? I read many people saying that taking .5mg will work with reducing side effects. What dosage you suggest? I've started taking fin 1 mg/day from 4days. Should i follow the same or should i switch to .5mg/day? -Thanks in advance.
