Hi iam applying 5%minoxidil(mintop forte)daily twice. i feel itching while taking bath.my hair is becoming dry. can i apply any hair oil once after applying minoxidil. i am planning to apply minoxidil in the morning and after coming from the office i would like to apply herbal hairoil(keratex) will wait for 1-2 hrs and take bath, again i would like to apply minoxidil before i goto bed. I need ur comments on this.plz let me knwon will this helps me or not. am in correct direction. did anyone tried keratex - it is an india's herbal product. i am from India working in US.i requested my friend to get 1mg finax(finasteride). now i am using finasteride from walgreens, nizrol 1% daily twiceand mintop forte (5% minoxidil).

Jet you can use Nizoral 2% shampoo and Rogain or generic 5% minoxidil (1ml daily twice). these might help you no side effects

Hi All Firstly i thank u all for helping.HT did by Dr.Harris on oct 9th, i lost 90% of the transplanted hair now i am on 5%minoxidil(Mintop forte from India),Finasteride from walgreens and Nizoral shampoo. i saw many on this forum are saying MSM increases the hairgrowth fast nearly twice right from my childhood my hair growth is slow comparetively.what is the recommended dosage and where to buy. do i need to buy only MSM or any combination with MSM is good.Any side effects if what kind.

Thanks for all.i am from india living in US. one of my friend went to india so i asked him to get generic Finasteride as i dont know the product name earlier.i am now using finasteride bought it from walgreens and using mintop forte(5% minoxidil).i think i will ask my friend to get finax as it is the product of same company(reddy labs). need ur suggestions thanks uthatik

Hi all I have an appoint with Dr.James Harris on oct 9th for surgery.Did anyone had surgery with James earlier if please share ur experience.suggest me pre and post surgery care. i come under scale 2. he said i need around 2200 up to mid scalp.later need to use rogain and propecia. suggest me, am i going to the right surgeon if not plz help me. still i have time to choose. thanks uthatik

Hi All Firstly, I would like to thank each & everyone who are contributing in this forum with their valuable suggestions, experience. Thanks a lot... I found only one surgeon in Denver suggested by this forum Dr.James Harris and not a coalition member.next i found other surgeon in Pheonix Dr. Scott Alexneder. could you please suggest me who is best or any other surgeons near colorado springs. Actually i went to Dr. James Harris yesterday. i felt good he showed some of the photos before and after. he analysed my sclap and told that i need around 2000 grafts and he said that i ahve to use propiciea and rogain+ nizrol sampoo for dandruff or laser comb. what he says is i have more that 20% of thin hair at back so he siad i have to be on medication otherwise hair transplanted hair also will loose in next 5 years.finally i felt good and tried to block the date for surgery but dates are not available. i got it on nov 4th. i didnt ask him any of his patients contact details to talk or to meet them. so please suggest me the best surgeon Thanks waiting for your advice Uthatik

I visited hair club and bosley which are in Denver.Bosley - They said i need 1800 grafts, front 1000-1200, center- 600-800.Hairclub - 2000 grafts- total 2000 at front and recommended propecia or Rogain to grow for my crown region. Many people are suggesting not to go for HairClub and Bosley. so Please guide me a good Surgeon. I found some options. i dont know whether they are good or not.they are below 1. I found one in VA- HRG.No idea of my friend told me about this clinic. 2.Did any of u went to Dr.james Harris.had any experience with him.This forum suggests that he is one of the best surgeon in Denver, i have doubt as he is not a member of Coalition and i didnt see any postings either good or bad on Him. so plz plz guide me. i am ready to travel neibhouring states for my HT. 3.even anyone had experience with Dr.Alexender who is in Phonex.i saw some postings on this forum about him.
