You had a huge crown to cover so I don't think there was going to be any way to get dense coverage over all of that area especially since you also put some grafts into the frontal corners. It does look like the mid scalp is covered half decently, so at least you'll have good coverage further back than you did after the first procedure.
-
The crown turned out great. There could be a bit more density along the front, but there's still a noticeable improvement.
-
It's a big difference from where you were. I would probably do a small session for the crown just to get a bit of hair, so it's not so bald because it looks like your crown could really widen and dip a lot over the coming years. You don't want to end up with an island of hair in the middle of your crown with no donor left to fill in around it.
-
This turned out very nice. It didn't really change your appearance, but it did enhance it a lot. I would imagine that's why nobody has really noticed or questioned you about it. They probably think you just been looking really good lately.
-
That made him look so much younger. Very nice.

This looks good for 4 months.

Hello @ytt248. You posted this twice, but some of the pictures were different. I removed one post and combined all of your pictures into this one. To find topics that you created, so that you can get back to them easily, go to your profile and click on "See my activity" button on the right. Then on the left, click on "Topics" and it will list any topics you created.
Now, to your question... Yes I think your donor looks thin. I think it's going to be hard to get a favorable result without creating problems in the donor areas. Be careful who you go to for a procedure. Your hair type is hard to work with because of the tight curl of the hairs.

The growth is starting to come in. Now you get to spend the next 6 months looking in the mirror every day trying to see if you have any new hairs popping up and feeling both excited that your hair is growing 🙂 and depressed that it's taking too long and you don't see more than yesterday 😔

Thank you for the feedback, do you think it’s worthwhile to start follow-up procedure discussions now or wait a couple months? If I need a subsequent operation, would like to get it scheduled by end of year.
My feeling is that most Drs you ask now are going to say to wait a couple of months to get a better idea of what's required, but I don't want to discourage you from asking around either. Just keep in mind that may be their answer for now.

I think the issue here is that you comb your hair forward to cover the front. There's nothing wrong with doing that and I'm not blaming you for it. That's how you're been combing your hair for a long time. The problem is most HT Drs try to create a thick hair line and then put less grafts behind it because they have to put less density somewhere in order to get a thick front line. There's a limited number of grafts. This is fine with most people because almost everyone wants a dense hair line. In your case however, it would have been better for Dr Yaman to transplant at a more even density, putting a bit less than he did along the frontal line and more throughout the mid scalp. Doing that would have made more of difference on you due to the way you comb it.
If you decide to go for another HT in the future, make sure you let them know that you are interested in thickening the mid scalp more than the hair line based on how you style your hair.
With that said, it does look like you got some improvement and it seems like you can get a similar look that you had before without needing to grow your hair quite as long which makes it look more natural and less like you are trying to cover up a balding area and more like you just like styling your hair that way.
-
I was unable to view any of the pictures.

I'm feeling the same way as @Berba11. It looks like they transplanted dense enough, but it's hard to tell if they just didn't grow or if you are a slow grower because it looks like you do have a few shorter hairs and some others look very thin. I'd like to see an update in about two months, so we can know for sure.

Hair loss can be depressing, especially if you are losing it quickly, but there are a lot of options these days. Are you willing to post some pictures? That would give us a better idea of your situation and maybe be able to give you advice on what to try or where to go. You can block out your face. For example, if you still have enough hair you may be able to get away with only taking a 2 week vacation to have a hair transplant and then going back to work after the scabs come off and maybe being able to cover the area with existing hair, but without pictures we don't know what your situation is.

You are at almost the exact same spot as I am. Thin hair all over and trying to use body hair to create a half decent looking head of hair. Your front half doesn't look too bad. It's a little thin, but it provides enough coverage to look like you're not bald. The crown is where your biggest issue still is although you may get a bit more filling in there still. Again, I'm in the same place. Do you have any body grafts left to use? For myself I'm hoping to get at least one more good session to try to fill in the worst spots and sort of bring it all together, so it looks like normal thinning in the crown with enough hair everywhere else to look OK in most situations. That looks like exactly what you need too.

It's only been 1 month since your hair transplant. It looks like they transplanted a good amount of grafts, so if they all grow it shouldn't be too thin. You may still want to thicken it up, but you need to wait until about 8 months after to start thinking about where you may need more grafts.

I was hoping to get inputs on the most cost effective hair clinics in Istanbul. I’m most likely going to get 3800 to 4000 grafts. What is the average cost for the process?
Don't go just by cost. There are a lot of low quality hair transplant clinics around. Going with one of those because they were the cheapest could end up costing you a lot more money to get the mess they create fixed, plus you'll look much worse than if you're just losing your hair naturally. Greetings to all,
I have been diligently researching hair transplant clinics for some time now and find myself in a state of indecision regarding the selection process. I would greatly appreciate recommendations for reputable establishments on a global scale to aid in my decision-making process. Thank you in advance for your assistance
It can certainly get overwhelming when you start looking at so many different Drs. You need to get your choices down to 3 or 4 that you really think are good for you and then decide from there. I always say to figure out what type of hair line you want. Most people are trying to get back to something similar to what they looked like when they were younger, so take a look at some old pictures of yourself. Then look at Drs hair lines that seems to be similar to what you had or want. Most Drs sort of have a certain hair line style that they do most often. The hair line style can make a big difference in your appearance, so you want a Dr who performs the type you want.
If you haven't done so, then check out our list of recommended Drs https://hairtransplantnetwork.com/best-hair-transplant-surgeons

If minoxidil was working then get back on that. If you were using topical min then you can try oral min which should work better. Whether you wait to do another transplant or do it now is up to you, but if it's bothering you now then why wait a few more years. You're already 40. It's not like your 25 and worried about using all your donor at a young age.

I prefer to use it. It helps keep the grafts clean and it helps later with the scabs. The scabs will come off easier and sooner if you've been spraying them for several days.

It's starting to fill in. It should look great in another couple of months.

The current conversion rate is 1.09 US per 1 EUR. At 3 EUR per graft, which is the current price listed on the web site, you're looking at around $13,000 US for 4000 grafts.

If it’s the Artis machine being used, I’m not really fond of it. Some of the best Drs tried it and got rid of it because it wasn’t as good as them doing it by hand.

If you’re going to rock a hair system in secret, you may find life gets harder rather than easier at times.
This is so true. I hated wearing a hair system. I was always afraid people could tell my hair was fake. That feeling was worse than being a NW 6.

I tried a hair system just pre covid days for about 6 to 9 months the lower damage on the back and high sides is probably the damage from the hair system glue which was attached at around them places I believe. This could be why I have lost some grafts from that area.
If you think this could be a possibility then stay on the meds for a while and wait a few months to see if the hair grows in before deciding to go for a hair transplant.
