  1. I agree with your sentiments. Many doctors can not place the real numbers needed for a useful hair restoration. They come up with these ideas of going in many stages. Makes no sense to me.
  2. 10-20% is less for this far out, IMO. But there are some known late bloomers. Also, how did you figure out that you have had 20% regrowth. Could it not be that the grafts grew in but your MPB accelerated for whatever reason. Just playing the Devil's advocate here.
  3. B spot, Have you ever heard of a near complete hair restoration? How many FUs do you think a NW6 has lost? At a rough estimate, I think 25,000. Do you seriously think a mere 4000 FU grafts will ever make the difference that we hairloss sufferers want. These are my pictures after 6000 FU grafts growing. I have gone for more since. I do not think its a realistic idea to think that 2000 some grafts are going to make any substantial difference.
  4. I think it is not the best idea to restrict oneself by location. Try to get as many online consults as possible with doctors around the world. I had atleast 7 online consults the last time I went for my body hair transplant. U will be amazed by the depth of knowledge you get that way. Online consults are also a good way of getting a rough idea of how professional and caring the doctor will be after you have got your HT. You will not be running back to his office everytime you have a post op question. Are you looking for a fue or regular strip?
  5. rsanders36, I like my hairline now. Thanks for your appreciative comments. I prefer not to bring the name of my doctor as the discussion forums sometimes get to political. Suffice to say that he is not from USA and is, maybe, one of the few doctors with lots of fue cases to his credit. I think many times we people with hairloss tend to focus on the skin that shines through rather than the hair that are there. Care to share some pictures of your hairloss? I do not have pictures of what my 7500 grafts look like grown out. But I do have one of what it looks like when I had 6000 grafts growing. That was before I shaved for my latest Ht. I think it will look denser than before when all the hair grow in. Here's the picture.
  6. What was used for making your recipient slits gorpy.
  7. A strip for just 1300 grafts seems a bad thing. Just my idea. I would have rather stuck to a fue for such numbers.
  8. You r saying 10,000 because u perceive that to be the limit that can be extracted. Thats where we and the doctors are wrong,IMO. A NW6 bald area had at least 25,000 grafts?! How will 10,000 be enough? First lets calculate the real numbers we will need. Then decide to take the plunge. This site has a nice graft estimator system. BTW, how did u reach the conclusion that all can get 8000 fron strip. Those will be 2cm wide strips going all round the donor area two times for an average person. Taking a total of 4 cm wide (in 2 strips) where is the donor safe area going to be to take out 2000 fue. To acheive any sembelance of 10,000 most people will need to tap into their body hair.
  9. I wonder what the person who voted 3000 grafts will have to say on seeing my head after 6000 grafts growing.
  10. Whats a sub follicular graft? Sorry if it has been discussed before. I heard the term for the first time.
  11. Hey, someone did vote that 3000 will do fine for a NW 6 full restoration. Care to share your reasons for feeling so?
  12. my buzz cut my buzz cut pic2 A buzz cut is good way to look full.
  13. you r planning fue, I hope. Strip for multiple small sessions wud not be the best idea.
