  1. great job done Dr. I dont see how there is still need for improvement like Faheem was saying , considering the loss this guy had
  2. Because of the concern over your hairpiece, you dont want to take risk and get HT done in HCM You may endup needing that hair piece forever Look for the coalition doctor in your area
  3. I am surprised with what they were saying about large sessions. May be its because of their price that no one does more than 3K grafts with them But I have seen the chart of their procedures in person. Med-large is 1300 grafts .Large session is 2000 Grafts and ultra Large is 3000 grafts if you are not worried about the crown look, 2000 will make you happy..but if you can get 3000-4000 grafts with the same price, why not go for it? I recommend you to go and talk to Dr.Griffin in person .Find out where the 1700 grafts will be placed and if you can get the density you need
  4. your crown needs work. If you just want to fillup crown , still 2000 will do good job . consider 3k for overall density. lets see what other members say
  5. Dwyane, I looked at you pics. IMO, 1500-2000 FU will give you pretty good coverage. I dont think you need a 4000 session right away. If you plan for 2000 FU, then look for doctors in the coalition who charge less.
  6. Yes. His prices are high. I had 1300 FU med-large session with him...but my case is different. I already have good coverage..so, I didnt need more than 1300. how many grafts you are planning to have now ?
  7. I personally prefer having the doctor close by. I have had my troubles in the past when I had my first HT done in Florida. If its just 500$ difference , IMO, its better to have it done with Griffin. You will endup paying the same with a doctor 300mile away because of the flight/hotel expenses
  8. so far I am very happy with the results and the way the procedure went. I'll keep you posted. check my blog. I'll post the updated pictures there.
  9. I had HT with Dr.Griffin on Jan2nd. It was great experience. The procedure was very smooth. His price is a bit high. I paid $8500 for 1300 FU . But I am happy with the overall experience and he corrected my pluggy hairline from earlier transplants by another surgeon. Looks like some of Cole's patients are unhappy with the results. Check this thread http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?t=154923
  10. Go anywhere but FortLauderdale . Its full of fake HT surgeons
  11. dont take risks on HT even if its few hundred grafts. If it ends up as pluggy look, you will suffer for long time..
  12. good for you. I also noticed huge improvement when 30+ plugs were removed from my hairline. now its looks very natural ..thanks to Dr.Griffin's team
  13. well..he was the one who cut my donor area and made incisions on my scalp . As a person, he was a nice guy..He took care of me very well pre-op and post-op ..but his procedure was way old . I ended up with what I feared most about HT , a plugged look. You can look at their website and it claims him as the surgeon I've gone thru a lot in the last two years with that bad hair . I want everyone else out there to be careful when choosing their surgeon and learn from my experience
  14. IMO, Significant regrowth is almost impossible with any kind of product..Revita keeps your hair soft and reduces the hair fall. It has several ingredients which block DHT
  15. Revita is available in vitamin shoppe stores. I bought mine from there for $27.50
  16. A laser comb is not a hair transplant. You're not going to go from NW 4 to looking like you have a full head of hair in 9 months. OK, so tell me... are you using minoxidil or propecia? I see too many posts about how laser combs don't work from people who use minox or propecia and admit they don't see much or any growth from those, but keep using them because surely they must be halting or at least slowing their hairloss. Well if that's fine for minoxidil and propecia, why is it so bad if a laser comb does the same? Wouldn't it actually be better because there's no side effects with a laser comb? Do you people have to have side effects to believe something is working? I don't get it. Can someone explain this to me? I've been using a laser comb for almost 6 months now and I've gotten more growth with the laser comb, propecia, nizoral combination than I ever had with anything I tried in the last 22 years INCLUDING some of my HT procedures. I'vent had any improvement at all with laser comb and thats the fact. I kept losing hair. I havent tried it with Minoxidil or anyother drug. It simply didnt work for me. The price tag on it is also very high to call it really worth and I've not seen any genuine results to belive lasercomb works. people use Propecia whether it works or not, because the application of it is very simple unlike lasercomb.
  17. sorry to hear your story dude ! I was also a victim of this doc. My scar was very bad ..infact it was too wide and bumpy . Even the front hair line was awkward with bumps all over the place I hope no one else fall for this doc after reading our experiences . MY HT was done in 2005 by the same doc. Check my blog http://hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=546
  18. check my blog . I added some pictures from my first 2HT http://hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=546
  19. I've tried the laser comb for almost 6months. nothing worked for me. Its just waste of 345 $ HT is the only real solution
  20. in the first surgery, I had 2500 grafts . that was 2 years back I am 30 yrs old at NW3
  21. I had total 1300 grafts covering my frontal area (1000) and crown area (300).
