  1. Thank Bill for answering that. Everyday i am learning new things about HT and today it is this...
  2. This is exactly what happen when you make a good choice and you have certainly have made a great choice in choosing your surgeon... Great Results you hairy fellow...
  3. Unclebenjie, If the doctor is unwilling to give you the details of his clients then how in the world will you be able to make a well informed and confident decision.. I am sorry pal, if thats the case, then i wont be going to him for my Surgery...Having said that, i think you must at least ask him to give you the contacts, of which i am sure he will and if he does not then bid him adieu...And one more thing. Dr Mahadevia is not on the recommendation list of this forum so the information you might get here [including that of mine] can not be trusted for 100 percent accuracy...
  4. Richfeel, As if now, there is no Indian surgeon who is on the recommendation list so, for time being, the answer you might be getting here about an Indian HT surgeon will not be 100 percent accurate. I would recommend you to consider Desperately seeking Hair's recommendation of Dr. Pathomvanich of Thailand as he is on the recommended list and is well known member in this community. You might also want to take a look at Dr Hamayun of islamabad
  5. Well i have heard a thing or two about him too. If i am not mistaken, Dr Mahadevia does his practice in ahemdabad and also specializes in BHT [body Hair Transplant].. Well why dont you ask Dr Mahadevia to give you the contacts of couple of his patients..
  6. Bill is right.. Its no use to have a surgeon on a recommendation list if he or she can not follow the simple norms of posting post on a forum. That will always create a doubt in a one's mind.. Even i read that post from krish1982 that Dr Madhu can't even check mails.. I guess he is not receptive to technology and i would not want me to undergo surgery with a surgeon who doesn't even know how to check emails...
  7. It is hard to imagine that people can stoop so low to earn some quick cash to rob a person both, emotionally and mentally. I feel getting robbed by a thief is better than running into one of these we-do-all-the-stuff-good-for-nothing-money-freaks for you can re-purchase the things that are stolen but you cannot buy back your own precious donor hairs waited by this criminals...I feel extremely glad to have found this forum for i can now make an well informed decision...
  8. Dear Bill I wish you, and all the members of hairrestorationforum.com, all the very best in finding the one quality surgeon in India. I hope your search will soon strike gold which will be of enormous help to the millions of people in this country of ours Javed.
  9. Thank you eman.. More comments or views will be appreciated
  10. I agree with jenna and fals, You started off your thread saying that you have an appointment schedule with gregory piston and then, in your second post, you mention you have canceled your appointment with Dr Shapiro.. If you have pic Dr shaprio who has been recommended on this forum, then dude don't worry you are in safe hands but if you have enrolled yourself with some tom dick and harry, then you are in for a huge trouble...
  11. Tuscani i think you have made a smart move.. Welcome to the club..
  12. Thank you Eman and Fal, It surely helps. By oral treatment i mean any Ayurvedic or nutrition pills suggested by a physician..Is that okay ?? and does one have to take propecia or rogain for the rest of ones life if one starts the course..?? Thank you once again.
  13. Tuscani, Slow down dude slow down.. Take the whole process in a slow motion rather than going fast forward.. The Hair transplant is one important decision that promises to change your life forever so be very very careful in selecting you hair transplant surgeon.. There are many surgeons out there who use image marketing techniques which shows excellent results but in reality they are fake. Most of them have their abilities somewhere between Caveman's and Neanderthal's and the last thing you want is to become a prey to them... Dude please research, take time, discuss, and then decide undergoing hair transplant or you in for a life long trouble... I hope it helps
  14. No takers yet.. Come on guys.. Fel, pat, and others please help me out with this one
  15. Dude if you think this is hair loss then you should look at my pics or look at the pics of other members on this community...
  16. I have also heard that once you stop using it, then you go back to the state where you started form in other words, all the good work done is gone so you have to take it for the rest of your life... Am i correct, Please correct me if am wrong
  17. I have two questions for you guys 1-Is it a good idea to use rogaine or propecia before one undergoes hair transplant surgery..? and 2- Is it okay to take non surgical oral treatment before HT ? What do you think ?

  19. I have said this earlier and i would say this again that results looks excellent..I would just like to ask, what criteria and questionnaires did you follow to come up with Dr Huyamun ?.. Just a curiosity Thank you in advance.
  20. Thank you fusion47 and other members for posting their valuable views to this question. I must confess that i was reluctant to do scalp exercise because i thought it would be too soon.. Now, after reading the posts, i am gonnna start scalp exercise form this very day... Thank you once again
  21. sonia, You must be aware of the fact that not many females undergo hair loss and even less number of them post their results here on this forum so it must be difficult for you to assess or find a surgeon of you need but having said that the names of the surgeons that you have hear or keep hearing about are amongst the best in the world so if you are considering any one of them as your probable choice then you are in safe hands. My advice would be to drop in a mail and asking them for their female patients they have treated . Talk to them and their patience and you will have a pretty good idea..... Cheers !!
  22. Wow!! simply amazing growth...First of all congrats dude.. Your pics look really great... With this many grafts i dont think you will need any more surgery.. do keep us updated..
  23. So there are lot of people who have had bad experiences form AHS. But the AHS studio brags about having celebrity clients like shane warne and others who have undergone advance laser treatment in their studios.. Believe me guys i was to enroll an appointment with AHS but decided against it for i was not totally convince at that point in time and i think i made a good decision...Feel sorry for you guys who have been ripped off by AHS...
  24. dude there is no right age for undergoing HT but there is surely are right way of how to find a good HT doc. If you are in hurry then please reconsider because the probability of making a bad decision is great when one is in a hurry if you know what i mean. But having said that if you are planning to undergo HT with the ones recommended on this forum then you are in safe hands but still you need to find out the right surgeon who will fit your bill and that need a little bit of research work. First short list 4-5 surgeon according to your requirement and send them your pictures. Talk to them about your condition and your goals and listen to what they have to say. Based on that make a final call. It is big big decision and the one which promises to transform and face lift your life and the last thing you want is to be in a hurry to make such an important decision... I am not an expert and never will be but i think this is the right approach to HT .. I hope it helps
