  6. Good luck repo-man Hope you post your pics after
  7. Looks great John M and still plenty more to come mate
  8. Ive never seen any bad feedback on the net from Shapiro Medical. Also all the results that ive seen online from Shapiro Medical have been first class.
  9. Looks great pete. Ive met Pete a couple of times and as well as being jealous of his hair i was VERY jealous of his non existent strip scar.
  10. Looking great Richie.... Your pics are first class and your results are gonna be first class too. I think Dr Ash is a comedian
  11. That is going to be a great rsult when all grown out. Well done on choosing a world class doc. I enjoyed reading your story too
  12. Grow well mate..... Also good luck in the cup final today!!
  13. Most top docs use staples (trichopytic closure) today as they leave a much better looking scar. I just had my second op with Dr Feller last Monday and have still got the staples in now. I have never had the sutures so I don't know the difference but I do know that the staples are not as bad as they look. . I had my 1st op last January and just got my old man to remove them with the staple remover that you get given to you, it's not that bad.......
  14. It is a good idea to start doing some scalp exercises they are more important if you was to have a second op but it's still a good idea for you to start doing them. Put the palms of your hands at the back of your head as if you was to do a sit up. Pull the donor area up and hold for about 10 seconds and then let go Do the same on the sides of your head. Do this for about 10 minutes each day leading up to your op. Good luck with everything mate
  15. I keep looking at these pictures and I cannot understand why someone of his age who doesn't seem to have that much hairloss would want to lower his hairline so dramatically??? He has now got a teenage hairline and he must be in his late 40's?
  16. Looks great for a relatively small no of grafts. Some more pictures would be good. I cant see any obvious signs of recent work??
  17. I think the best thing you can do is crack your mate real hard on the chin the next time you see him it will make you feel a hole lot better Only jokin bud. At 25 days the grafts are secure so I don't think you have a problem now as they are due to fall out anyway. But it does look like there is some irritation there so try putting some Aloe Vera Gel on the area.
  18. Are you suffering side effects from taking Propecia, how long have you been taking it for? I personally can't see it making any difference but im no expert.
  19. Unbelievable!!! This kid probably still lives at home with his parents. I started receding at 18 and by 27 I was a norwood 5/6. I hope this young lad doesn't suffer that sort of hairloss for his own sake....
  20. I have been stuck indoors for most of the week because i have just had a HT and i need a good laugh so i might just get that book
  21. As a rule you are supposed to clean the recipient and donor area as much as possible for the first week or so after your op but if this mark is still there after that then you really need to speak to your Dr again. It is probably nothing, let us know how you get on.
