Acrobaz, Thanks for the compliment. I wish you Happily Ever After also. From what I see of your post-op pics, it's looking good. "Elvis Temples" are what I demanded from Dr. Wong when I met him, "Make me look like Elvis or else!" I'm kidding of course. I love the question. I referred to the initial temple work back in 2002 as "Elvis Temples" just to be funny. I was so thrilled with how aggressive Dr. Wong was, that it just came to me. I mean, we're talking about The King here! The attachment shows the evolution of my temples from 2002 to today. You can gauge it by the birth mark just below the hairline. Also, I haven't colored my hair..honest. It's just the difference in cameras and lighting. Thanks for the inquiry. I makes my day. UNC

Eman's 5-month UPDATE: The FUN Continues...
uncjim replied to Eman's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Eman, Yeah, I just caught this. Very, very nice. It's quite early and you are already showing some fine results. Bye, bye baldness. It's nothing but good times from 5 months on out..GREAT! UNC -
Eman, Thank you. It has been a long road and I'm happy to have come to it's end. I appreciate your kind words and your interest. Dr. Rahal's work looks exceptional, with your temples balancing everything off perfectly. I'll be following your progress. UNC

conan, The old plug work wasn't done via strip, but with a punch instrument, which resulted in my donor area being filled with circular scars. This didn't affect the elasticity of my scalp, which happens to be quite good. This allowed for the 3 strips. The strip, due to the scaring, yielded far less grafts. In my opinion, if my scalp had been untouched, the strips would have yielded 50% more. UNC

its752, Ahh..sculpt. I like that. While I don't want to give the impression of an old guy trying to turn back the clock, I just may go there. Thanks for the compliment and the styling advice. UNC

JJ, You're welcome. Trying to explain can be a little torturous at times. I'm glad it was clear. UNC

Dr. Wong, So this is it huh? How am I supposed to break this to the family? It's all there for me now from the Elvis Temples all the way down to the rejuvenated nape. I couldn't be happier and you and your magnificent staff has made that possible for me. You're a great surgeon and I'm a lucky guy. Jim

Spex, Thank you Good Sir! Jim

rtc, Yes Sir, it really has been put to rest. I know some have seen my situation as kind of like being hooked on the process, but that's never been the case. The one thing hanging over my head (no pun of course) was the donor area repair. The additional in the crown and corners of the hairline were a true bonus. I'm loving it. A "swirly" and beer would be great. I still feel bad about backing out of that first gig. Spex, Back atcha' my friend. You've been a great help and inspiration to all of us. Jim

Hi Bill, Thanks for moving my thread and for your kind words. It sure does feel good. I found my Photo Gallery after creating it, by doing a search on the title. That's how I included the link. I just now found it in the "Hair Restoration Questions and Answers" section. Previously I thought it was elsewhere, like the section where I'm posting now. On the other hand, maybe it's just old age kicking in! Either way..Thank You. Young Success, Hey, at 55 years I would have killed for this 62 year old head of hair! Thanks so much. Jim

Oops..Wrong section..SORRY!

Hi all, I'm now 14 months post op from my final repair surgery with Dr. Jerry Wong of Hasson and Wong. It's over! I've updated my Weblog and also included a Photo Album (link below) that has somehow disappeared, after being visible for a short while. Hopefully this can be rectified. Thank you all and thanks to HTN for the opportunity to share my story. UNC http://hair-restoration-info.c...66060861/m/663106881

Hi All, It's been 14 months since my last and final repair procedure with Dr. Wong. We were able to harvest an additional 1614 grafts, bringing me to a grand total of 6788 grafts over three surgeries. This, in my opinion, is somewhat of a miracle, considering the depleted condition of my donor area, due to the many ancient punch grafts going back to the late 1970s through the late 1980s. The attached pictures detail my last procedure which focused on the punch grafted nape area, the corners of the hairline (particularly the part side) and the crown. I've updated My Weblog which details my history. Please visit it often with family and friends. Thanks. UNC

Joe, Nice Job. Jim

If the HT industry is effected by an economic downturn, I suspect it would react in order to compensate, just like any other industry.

Good Luck on June 29th Capello!

Congratulations LaGrange. That's an excellent transformation. The crown can be a "dark hole" and without question you got an amazing bang for your buck! UNC
