  1. Hey op do you have a video of your results? Congrats on your improvement. Can you let us know how many techs worked in you and also give an update for your crown?
  2. Op sent you a message where are your updates it’s been 4 years
  3. OP can you please post pics of your hairline? its hard to tell when you are combing it forward
  4. Thanks @jjalay I already have a scar from my first procedure where I received close to 2k grafts. I don't know if its better to save the second strip for a future procedure if i ever need one for my crown. Part of me is concerned because I feel 1600 is too small but at the same time i experienced lower yield growth. I had it done at a reputable doctor so that isn't the issue
  5. OP great results! can you share pics of it dry so we can see the hairline
  6. thanks all — so ideally how many grafts would it be best to save for FUT? What about transection though?
  7. Hi all, I have been looking into FUT vs FUE for my second surgery on my hairline and wanted to get more experienced members input. I have gone to consultations with different doctors and one recommended fut over fue more over potential yield growth. While this could be biased, the other doctor said it wouldn't matter with either method. If I go with FUT, wouldn't it have the disadvantage of not being able to chose singles doubles triples? I figured I would be stuck with whatever comes from the strip unless there is a way to split doubles into singles. What should i request when strategizing the placement of different hairs. I only have a recession Thanks!
  8. OP I looked over your pics again and it seems like you had more density in the middle beforehand? Not sure if its the new implanted hairs that make it appear like that?
  9. OP can you book a consultation with another surgeon to help expedite this and get another opinion?
  10. thanks all @Dr. Glenn Charles I can cover my back fine but the work will be for my hairline. I could comb it down but it looks a bit strange to be honest. Speaking of FUE, Doc from your experience does growth yield differ from between FUT vs FUE? If I have had an FUT, would you think its ok to go FUE? I know there are many variables at play... I have good donor and only need to fix my hairline for now. @Gatsby so you go out with no hat and use your own coverage?
  11. Hey OP thanks for posting your journey. Curious why did you chose FUE over FUT? Was it mostly the scaring? Also did Dr. Josephitis mention anything on why it looked see through the first time? Could you have yielded more growth with FUT?
  12. Hello all, This is my first post on the forum. I need to have a second transplant and wanted to get people's opinion on how they dealt with the recovery. I had to wear a hat for about 1 year and the thought of that is very tiring. I basically have to watch 1 year of my life go by without being able to enjoy things. It took a huge toll on my mental well-being Appreciate your advice
  13. @JoeD I can't PM you, can you send me some pics of your case? In a similar situation as you and I need to go for a second
