  1. @Duke1984 please go ahead and send me a message I would be happy to answer any questions, I’m 7 days post surgery today and it’s going well 👍🏼
  2. @Gatsby @Berba11 thank u…. I will definitely document my journey and add pictures, hopefully it will help steer other women with the same condition as me to go to a Dr like Dr Ted 😊😊 also on another note I didn’t know Dr Mani Mittal doesn’t do FUT… no wonder I don’t hear back from him. X
  3. @Berba11 @Gatsby @jjalay @HairFunk hey guys….. I had my FUT HT on Monday with Dr Ted Miln…. I might do a post in a few days depending on how I feel as I have a bit of swelling and the stitches are absolutely killing me lol but I can’t believe I actually did it 😊😊😊
  4. @Berba11 @jjalay @HairFunk @Gatsby @hrh93 I’ve had a phone consultation with Dr Miln and he said he doesn’t think it will be beneficial for me to see a Trichologist, only because there has been no pulling or hair loss for 20+ years, he asked me loads of questions, more importantly what I wanted to achieve from this and thinks the FUT procedure will be the best for me. He also mentioned Dr Ball and Dr Mani in our conversation and spoke really highly of them. I have a really good feeling with this doctor and I did say to him I’m willing to travel to his surgery in wales to have the HT as he’s just opened it. I still have to book a face to face consultation with Dr Mani and will make my decision 🤞🏼 THANK GOD I DIDN'T GO TO TURKEY LOL 😂
  5. @Gatsby Thank u… I will let u know how it all goes with Dr Mani and Dr Miln 🤞🏼🤞🏼
  6. @HairFunkSorry for posting this late, please see the first part of the email. I did reach out to Eva Proudman but she wants £310 for a London appointment 😖 if I’m being honest it’s been a very long time if the hair was gonna grow back it would of by now. When I went to see a hair specialist in Jan she did say there were no hair follicles in the traction area when using her scalp microscope but the rest of my head looked fine. I have my hopes for Dr Miln and Dr Mani 🤞🏼
  7. @Berba11 @HairFunk I’m not sure if he works for WMG or has gone solo…. I messaged him on insta and he’s really good at responding straight away, I will ask him if he’s gone solo, his assist has also messaged me for a consultation too ☺️
  8. I just had a consultation with with Russ who works with Dr Mani, he was so nice, I just need to book a face to face consultation which costs £150 or a zoom which costs £75, I opted for the face to face so hopefully that will be soon ☺️
  9. It’s definitely traction as I have never had any other hair loss
  10. It’s definitely traction as I have never had any other hair loss
  11. @jjalay @Berba11 I’ve received this from the Westminster Medical Group, looks as though nothing can be done in my case, even if I was to receive a HT it might not even work, I have a feeling it won’t as I’ve have this for so long as was to embarrassed to to go to the doctors to do anything about it.
  12. Thank u…. I will have a look into this too ☺️
  13. Thank u for all the suggestions I will look into these all…. A few people have suggested to use a doctor who has experience in female HT but it’s quite hard as many females done want to be documented on. The only doctor I’ve seen with some female pictures is DR Ball and his are brilliant 🤩 id rather a FUT as I don’t want half my head shaved off. Most in turkey only offer FUE when I was enquiring and Dr Kumari was only offering FUE
  14. Thank u…. Dr Reddy is way too expensive for me 🙈 for my traction alopecia I will need about 2000-2500 grafts so I’ve been told. Do you have any suggestions for Europe? India is out of the question as I have two young children and can’t travel that far
  15. I forgot to add, I also contacted Dr Arshad and sent my pictures across, his assistant Adam I think his name was, he said 9 times out of 10 hair transplants for traction alopecia doesn’t work and it’s something I will have to live with.
  16. @Berba11 @jjalay Hey…. I took your advice and reached out to Dr Ball, Dr Mani and another Dr that was recommended on this forum Dr Miln. I’m still waiting to hear back from Dr Ball, Dr Mani I have a consultation with him on Monday and a video call with Dr Miln too. I've had a consultation with Dr Jyotsna Kumari at the Liverpool Hair Transplant Clinic, she sent me some pictures of female patients she has worked on, has anyone heard of her? Her Trust Pilot reviews are all good but her google reviews are hit and miss. I've also reached out to Eva Proudman.
  17. @jjalay @Berba11 does the dr have to be an expert in the temple area? I’ve looked on here and Yaman has quite a few good reviews on here. Dr Tayfun not so much so he’s out of my options now. im not looking for my hair line to be altered/lowered, I just for the bald patches to be filled in, can you rec anyone else turkey as UK is way out of my budget? thanks
  18. I recently put up a post about my traction alopecia. I am looking to go to turkey and narrowed down to two doctors, Dr Rasul Yaman and Dr Tayfun Oguzolglu. Dr Yaman can perform FUE with my donor area shaved for £3250 Dr Tayfun can perform long hair FUE without shaving (I prefer this) for £5500 does anyone have feedback on both these doctors please?
  19. @Nav04 someone else suggested Eugenix but travelling to India will be quite far for me to go. I have looked into Turkey or Uk, someone on my post suggested Dr Ball in Portsmouth and Dr Mani Mittal in London. My preference is turkey as it’s within my budget but don’t want to go with these so-called hair mills so want to choose the best one
  20. @Berba11 thanks for all the above info, I have contacted Dr Ball, Dr Mani and a couple of other Drs recommended on here and will see how that goes. if you were to recommend anyone from turkey, would u have any suggestions just so I have other options?
  21. I’ve just had someone call me form Dr ***** and basically said I would would have to have an undercut, which I am not willing to do lol I heard that the FUT method is quite outdated, is this preferred over FUE as some people don’t want to shave? thanks for replying
  22. I have added some pictures below. I might request a consultation with them but really can’t afford a HT for £12k
  23. That’s correct it’s mostly on the temple area. It’s quite hard to find a clinic the perform on females as most don’t want to be on social media.
  24. @Melvin- Admin thank you… I have Asian (Indian) hair
  25. Hi, I am looking to go to turkey for a HT as I suffer from traction alopecia (20+ years). I have gone to my GP in London and hair specialists and have all confirmed its traction alopecia. Can anyone recommend a good clinic that’s specialises in this type of hair loss? My budget is £3.5-£4k. Also as I am quite concerned with how much they will take from my donor area, will it be better to go with FUT surgery? As I don’t want a large area of my head shaven. The clinics I have looked in to are, in no particular order are: Dr Cinik Dr Rasul Yaman Smile Hair Clinic Sule Hair Clinic Cosmedica FUECAPILAR
