  1. Right…. I believe the Dr said I would certainly notice bleeding running down my head if I managed to pull out a graft. There was no such bleeding… If you look at the picture though, it definitely looks like a graft with a little black bulb on the end…. I’m perplexed about this…
  2. Update… Day 7 Photos. Healing seems to be going well. Scalp itches like crazy in donor area. I was lightly rubbing the front of my head, and what appeared to be a graft could be seen . Kinda surprised a graph would fall out on day 7. If anyone has input please let me know what you think this is. Planning on updating photos near 2 month mark.
  3. Just recently had my procedure with Dr Nader and wanted to share my journey. I will spare all the details as many have covered the specific timeline of how the entire process works. I knew exactly what to expect based on other forums on this site, and they are very accurate on what to expect. Thank you to all that have shared their experiences!!!! I can confirm that all the great things that are said about Dr Nader and his staff are absolutely accurate. Amazing surgeon with a passion for his work l. He also does a great job making the patient feel comfortable during the entire process. I initially was planning on a 2 day procedure with 3500-4000 graphs but Nader thought it might be best to be a little more conservative after reviewing my hairline in person. I can tell that Dr Nader has more of a philosophy that less is more when it comes to transplanting hair. It is very difficult to be conservative when you think this is your one chance to get the amazing hair line you want. I will admit that I am a little bummed I didn’t go lower with my hairline, but I think his recommendation of being conservative will ultimately be a better choice in the long run. Break down is 1800 frontal and 1000 crown for a total of 2800 graphs. I will try to update progress every few months up to a full year to see how the growth pans out. Let me know if you have questions.
  4. I did! Communication was almost instant when I was about a month from scheduled appt. Sometimes I would get a response within minutes. I am all set to go now and they even allowed me to switch dates.
  5. This would be a bit tricky. I already booked my flight and booked an additional flight for a family member from a different State. What two dates did you have reserved?
  6. Communication has been a lot better! They even let me switch to the following week in case I need a 2nd day procedure. I gotta say the nervousness is finally setting in a bit. This will be totally out of my comfort zone, but I’m not backing out now. How’s your progress ? You must be near the 4 month mark.
  7. Thanks for the quick response gtyler, and sorry to spam your thread with this issue. I’m really surprised that you think I should get things in order and plan for that date already. Below is a copied response I received from Nader Medical back when I scheduled Appt. I just wanted one last confirmation from them before I made the travel arrangements. Communication seems worse now that it is getting closer which is concerning. I am scheduled for Jan 25th , so I’m getting a bit anxious. ”We ask you to wait to make flight reservations until you receive a confirmation email from Brenda or me confirming the dates for your visit (even if the calendar date is chosen and an email for the event is received).
  8. How long before your scheduled Appt. did the clinic reach out and confirm your date? I’m less than 2 months away from my appt this January and I have not heard from the Dr Nader’s staff. They also have not replied to my last 3 emails about the appt. Did they give you only a few weeks to schedule your flights/ hotel? Thanks for the help:)
  9. I booked an appointment with Dr Nader last February and am scheduled for late January of 2024. I have only exchanged a few emails with them over the last 8 months, but they have still not yet confirmed my date so I can arrange flight/ hotels. I am getting antsy because it’s under 2 months away and they have not responded to any of my emails the last 2 months. Can any past Nader patients fill me in on when the facility typically confirms the appointment date? I was told not to book anything until the date was confirmed.
