  1. I think we shouldn't necessarily focus on hair restoration surgeons. Other surgeons maybe interested as well, and if they can heal scars elsewhere on the body, that will work also on the scar. BTW it's been 10 months since Bloxham did the trial, I don't understand why he doesn't update, any news will be educational for us. If someone can contact him that would be good.
  2. thank you Melvin, any anticipation when Dr. Barghouthi will update us ? After your words I check the forum hourly like crazy
  3. @Melvin- Admin you go above and beyond to push this forward, thank you ! Also given your authority in hair restoration field, would you consider contacting Dr. Bloxham to know if we should expect updates ? It's been 9+ months.
  4. hi @Killian, I believe it's been +2months after your surgery. We all would be grateful if you share some updates with us. How's the healing progressing so far ?
  5. In case verteporfin doesn't work on older FUE scars, probably this can be solution ? Trial was done on hypopigmented scars. "All 21 subjects exhibited excellent to complete repigmentation of more than 75% of the hypopigmented scars. More than 90% repigmentation was observed in 17 patients. The mean duration for repigmentation that the subjects were satisfied with was 5.5 months. No adverse effects or recurrence instances were observed. Motorized micropunch grafting is an effective and promising alternative treatment for repigmentation of hypopigmented scars." SST. 6. @DrTBarghouthi I hope you are safe and pray for the peace in your region. May I ask what's the plan for the followups ? Is it going to be on monthly basis to evaluate the progress ?
  7. if it works on older FUT scars it will work also on older FUE. Old FUE even has better chances as there is no laxity issues and the wound itself is much smaller. Hopefully Dr. Barghouthi will trial that also and help many people.
  8. hi folks, couldn't find any updates on Dr. Bloxhams trial after month 5, while it will be month 9 in two weeks. @Fox243 maybe you have some updates from him ?
  9. That's wound size and number of FUE per cm2. I'm asking about used punch size and total number of follicles in marked area, so we may know what % of follicles were extracted.
  10. Thank you Doctor for the awesome job you do ! May I ask what is the punch size used ? How many follicles were originally in the marked areas ?
  11. Dr. Barghouthi is more than that. If he has an update he will make it here. He probably doesn't have time/doesn't want to communicate that often because of some negativity but once he did a trial he will update us and once again become everyone's favorite doctor.
  12. Bisanga is Top ! Especially when it comes to repairs. It would be huge step forward if he joins the game !
  13. I think these conversations are really not necessarily. Dr. Barghouthi said he has dates set for trials. But that was two months ago. @Fox243 Can you contact him to see what's going on ?
  14. Thank you for sharing, you are great ! "The more hair Present" is the absence of shock loss or some new hairs are popping out ?
  15. @Killian hi, hope everything heals well. I believe today is 4 weeks post op, anything notable to share ?
  16. I apologize. But whenever you are in the surgery chair, please remember our petition
  17. From Youtube comment "I think I'll be back in the chair soon, give me a few weeks :)" Sorry if I am mistaken.
  18. @Killian hope your healing goes well. It seems you are planning to have another surgery in few weeks. A huge petition from this this community, please consider punching few older FUE scars and injecting verteporfin.
  19. @Killian really can't see any wound where the scar was excised. Did it heal ?
  20. Wow ! I really appreciate your willingness to share and help ! It's great to have a verteporfin patient on our side !
  21. @Killian please let us know if the number of massages is overwhelming. But it is really exciting to have verteporfin patient here and possibility to ask questions. You posted 14 days photo. Seems to be clean, no redness or anything. Compared to your previous experience, how would you describe the difference in healing so far ?
  22. @Killian thank you for sharing this and good luck with healing. You're doing favor to all of us. If you don't mind, what was total excision area ? So we might compare dose per cm2 to other trials.
  23. Agree, asking critical questions and having transparency is great but not blaming without proof. I think delays are due to lack of organizational skills and tiredness from verteporfin. Also Jordan is a small country and I would imagine it's difficult to find a good trial volunteer. It seems he's got everything else.
  24. While I don't fully agree that he doesn't of us, at least morally. Many people put their decisions on hold waiting for the promised trial results and also there was $15K fundraising, although most of it was raised by a single person. But I agree that we must be respectful and he deserves that. There are only two docs who tried it, and only Dr. Barghouthi announced new trials. Hope he will do it soon and all this tension will fade away together with FUE scars
  25. @DrTBarghouthi is there anyway we can help you to speed up the process ? It seems you have Verteporfin and all the necessary equipment. Maybe we should try to help you to find a patient or anything else ? I apologize, if my previous post sounded a bit critical.
