Hey man, please go through my post. I just shared my month-6 update. I am still losing massive hair. I feel I have had a failed HT, and need to get it fixed. I would really appreciate your opinion as you have been there before.

Also, I have to add that line and extra gap in left FTA looks really bad. Do I need to go for fixing? If so, please recommend, should I get it done from Eugenix or visit different clinic in India or abroad this time?

Hi all, I hope you are all well. I am really sorry that I have not been able to posts in the past 3 months due to some reasons. I have always kept track of my progress weeks after weeks. I will be touching month 7 in 2 weeks maybe. Overall, I am not happy with growth. Frontal looks way too patchy and thin. There appears to be narrow line in the left side. I don't know how much of growth I have left. I am still losing hair despite being on topical minoxidil 5% once a day(sometimes maybe 2x a day). FYI, I started applying minoxidil after 3 months of the procedure on the transplanted area for better growth. I have been on 1 MG Finasteride for like 18 months now. Have not stopped a bit ever. With the patchy and thin hair in the transplanted area, may has become curly and it has made even way worse to comb it properly. I am sharing some pics taken at the Month-6. Also to mention that, I had developed follicutis(not painful at all but some pimples in hairline) starting from month-3 maybe, but they started going away from last week I guess. Here are some pics. I need your honest opinion if I need to go for another HT to fix as I am pretty sure it is a failed HT. I am stressed and really sad for this. I never thought I would be going through this. Fingers crossed. Looking forward to reading your comments.

Hairline doesn't look bad from away (here in this pic at least). Have you put concealers or fibers in hairline ?? can you share a pic without ??

I feel bad for you man. Your hair texture is good and super thick. You should have better outcomes. Donor area-- Look at SMP. That will do. Mid scalp- let it be or maybe SMP there too. But hairline, particularly that arrow shaped looks awful. Try to get it fixed. Did you try to talk to YOUR DOCTOR for this ??

Did you try finasteride? How was the experience ??

I get that losing 50-100 hairs per day is acceptable, but that's for normal people. I have been losing hair for almost 12-13 years. Have lost maybe 40-50% or so. So, even 30 hairs at this point of time, is scary to me. I have been on Fun for nearly 10 months. Only applying minoxidil on beard and that's too for past 9 months. So, it can't be shedding. Please refer to the wet hair pics. I have uploaded above. Is this time to add minoxidil topical once or twice on hair like crown or mid scalp?

Yes, I am happy with the donor at the point. At month-1 mark, it doesn't look like grafts were taken out. I am being patient for recipient area. Hopefully, I get good growth with good density in couple of months. But my concern is my native hair. I think I am losing or have lose ground there. My mid scalp and crown looks way thinner now(Refer to the wet hair pics). Also thinking of starting topical minoxidil 5% . I am already on 1mg fin/everyday. Should I start Minox?? I know once started I have to continue for whole life. That's what scare me. Thanks

Though I had only gotten grafts in hairline., I feel I am losing ground in overall density and more importantly, crown has gone way thinner than before. Crown was un touched during HT. Really concerned about growth of transplanted hair too. It looks more or less empty in HT area. Here also sharing Day-75 Dry hair pics..

Hello all, Just as the title says.. What is your current regimen to control hair loss after HT in the native hair. 2.5 months back I had a HT to fix my hairline. I have been on finasteride 1mg per day. I started taking Finasteride 10 months back(initially 0.5mg EOD then ED then after 3 months up the dose to 1mg/everyday). I'm also applying minoxidil 1ml on my beard; so, I don't know if that adds any benefit to hair. Also taking multi-vitamins at present. My concern is I am losing hair- I don't know maybe 10 or 20 while combing(like 5-6 each time). but definitely more while shampooing. I am unable to count during shower. But it could be 30-40 or more or less. But while looking at pics that were taken in April, 2023. I feel I have lost hair significantly. My crown has gone way thinner. This could not be shock loss right?? I mean, I had HT 75 days back but crown was not even touched.. Is this the time to add Minoxidil 5% topical once or twice a day to hair??? I am worried. Help Please

Hi, I am following your journey. I had my HT done by Dr Somesh on22nd July,2023. I feel I have lost 90% of transplanted hairs, which is okay. However, I have lost some native hair where density was less and grafts were implanted in between to get a fuller look. Did you also experience any shedding in native hair in surrounding areas?

Thanks. I get that about transplanted hairs shedding, but I am also shedding native hair in surrounded area. Do they come back?

Hello everyone, I got my HT done last month. It's been 26 days. I probably started shedding from Day-5 or so, which became massive from Day-8 or Day-9. I recently have come to notice most of the hairs I lose have one side bent like 90 degree maybe. And, some of those hairs have bulb in one side. I am not referring to dead skin. I actually tried to clean one such hair with water. Still one side end looked thick and had a bulb kinda. Is it normal shedding or I am actually losing hair?

In that case, how can go bald in our native hair even when pluck or due to hair fall? Thanks for the reply btw.

Day-22, I have started experiencing shedding rapidly. I am on Finasteride and multivitamins at present. Everything was going well, but this morning I just woke up and scratched my frontal hair(one hair) with nails. I think I just plucked it maybe. It started bleeding. Did I just lose one graft ? Worried about it. Please see the pics.

No.. Lol. I had 2013 grafts taken out. There was nit even a single white hair prior to HR. Now I have 15-20 here and there

I thought I was only one. I never had single white or grey hair. Now in past 15 days, I have close to 20 such hairs

No.. Not in the receipient area. It's in native or surrounding area. Not transplanted ones. Mostly they are in the back or side

Dear members, I had recently undergone a HT to fix my hairline with over 2300 grafts. I am currently on Day-18. I am noticing some white hair here and there. Like 10-15 in the back. 5-6 in side hair and like that. Pre-HT, I had no white hair. what has caused my some of my hair turn white all on a sudden? What could I be doing wrong? Is it temporary or permanent thing ? How to stop this? Please help

I like the hairline. Wanted a bit aggressive. That was the only way to change my face structure. I think I am happy with the hairline designed by Dr Bansal. today is my Day-16. I have started shedding. Whether I have good density or not only time will confirm. That's my only concern. Rest all are good. I am quite happy with Eugenix services. They were nice, helpful and professional. Rest, results will say. Keep following my post, I will be updating my journey regularly.
