  1. I upload a couple more pics that may show it more, but I’ll just wait and hope it gets thicker thank you
  2. Hey guys I had done a HT in Istanbul for 2500 grafts targeting my hairline and midscalp. I noticed I had diffuse thinning when my head was shaved in Istanbul and really didn’t know I had it cause I’m not shedding a lot. Anyways, I originally went to improve my hairline and make it straighter. I told the doc that I wanted density in the midscalp as well. The issue is I only got 500 grafts in the midscalp and the remaining 2000 in the hairline area. They claimed my midscalp area is still “strong” and there are hairs still in that area just not as dense. I guess that is why they didn’t transplant 1500 grafts in the midscalp itself instead. Anyways I’m 28 years old and my balding has not stabilized but I’m unable to take finasteride due to the side effects I experienced. Currently just on minoxidil and microneedling. The problem now is though I’m 5 months out and am still experiencing shock loss in my midscalp area as my native hairs aren’t there compared to what I used to have. That’s why I’m a little more frustrated about the situation because if I got more grafts there than it would offset the shock loss but I don’t think that was a concern as he claims he can safely implant next to native hairs. Well now a good amount of my hair isn’t there right now but hoping for the best. What do you all think, was it smarter for me to wait and get the second hair transplant later on? Or should I have just gotten like 1000 more grafts in the midscalp. Btw I have a good donor area. Last three pics are current, and last pic is how it looks unstyled after minoxidil and oil.

  4. Just looking for some insight as I’m in month 5 and still don’t see my old native hairs. Let me know when it started and came back for you!
  5. How is it now? I’m going through something similiar

  7. I had 2500 grafts done in my hairline and scalp. I am not on finasteride due to the side effects I received. Third pic is preop before the transplant, fourth is after shaving head, last pic is post op. My hair is messy in the first two pics to show the baldness more when it is not styled. The preop pic before the transplant is my styled hair that had some patches but not this bad.

  9. No one really answered if I got enough grafts in my midscalp area unfortunately
  10. To get a reply what else? And I don’t need to upload new ones if my hair is literally the same. Lol
  11. Hello, I had a transplant for 2500 grafts at the hairline and midscalp. I personally thought I had a decent hairline but wanted to improve it and gain some density in my midscalp. Only 500 grafts were in the midscalp and the rest was in the front. My question is did I get enough grafts in the mid scalp to cover my baldness? Right now I’m in month 5 with bad shock loss, probably cause of not being on finasteride (bad side effects). Can anyone shed some light on my hair and if it’s diffuse and if I got enough grafts? Pictures in order: pre transplant (baldness covered due to hair styling), shaved head before operation, post-op, then the last two pics are from last month (shock loss, but I had a little bit of a similar hair loss pattern thought not as much)

  15. Hey man did your shock loss get better? At what month?
  16. Can you explain the shed cycle? My hair lost significant density after my procedure. I noticed the shock loss two months ago and it still hasn’t grown back at 4 months.
  17. Hi, when did you see your shock loss come back? I think mine started at month 2. It’s month 4 and mine still hasn’t grown back. Were you on finasteride?
  18. Are you saying my native hair won’t come back? I had so many bad side effects with it. Does topical have less side effects?
  19. Thank you. That is definitely true, but my scalp did not have visible gaps as bad as I do now. Before my hair was thick enough to cover it and now I can barely do that? Do you believe the ~ 500 grafts was enough to cover my baldness in the scalp area?
  20. I would say closer to a Norwood 2? Here’s a picture of before the procedure. The shaved picture shows more of miniaturized hairs in the midscalp. This was my hair fully grown out and styled before the procedure. Glad you think it looks good, unfortunately I’ve lost a good amount of native hair density due to shock loss. I’m hoping it comes back soon as I’m already at the 4 month mark and only use minoxidil due to the sides I got with finasteride.
  21. Hello everyone I received 2500 grafts from Dr. Yaman in late July. I realized that the majority of my grafts implanted were in the frontal hairline area and only like 500 were in the midscalp. I def do have balding in the scalp but it looks like he target my hairline more even though that’s thinning was. I did say I wanted it improved. Idk what do you guys think? Currently have a good amount of shock loss so my midscalp hair is thin. These pictures are pre-op and post op. Last two pictures is me right now at 4 months.
