  1. Well I just don't know what to do for my girlfriend's thinning hair. It wasn't thinning before covid that's for sure.
  2. Like you just said PRP isn't for permanent hair loss I agree. It's for exactly what you're describing is it not?
  3. by the way the thread in which Dr. Konior did my hairline is here: i just added progress pics yesterday I'm pretty happy with it i hope some more patches grow in but whatever the PRP isn't for me. female stuff hard to research but I think it's actually worth it for them (much like low laser light therapy isn't as thrilling for men as it is effective for women)
  4. Well it's thinning very evenly, it is looking like a bit stress-induced shedding, and may be lacking a bit of nutrients. I think the vax-induced rapid aging or whatever the hell that causes your own body to wear down quickly in terms of bloodflow/white blood cells. To think poor bloodflow could be the cause is something PRP would fix significantly from repeated therapy. This isn't DHT induced nor hormonal, i would think her Testosterone to Estrogen levels are normal, even though she just got off birth control which she took for 10 years elevating her normal estrogen levels significantly so those may not have reset back to baseline. Therefor MAYBE her T levels are slightly elevated and not accouunted for resulting in a bit of DHT androgen induced follicle shrinkage
  5. Ya but it's not the same males vs females. I'd never do it, waste of time. Unless directly before or after surgery to help with healing. But thinning is different and obviously she doesnt have male pattern baldness whatever, males+females they're different. Not for me, for her. I think it's legit for females suffering from what I believe she could be here in this case (she took 5 vaxes) im unvaxed i dont worry about thinning from my own body eating itself. i only worry about DHT eating my follicles. she has probably cascading effects from the vax that i think PRP can actually heal. since minoxidil is heart-heavy med i dont want to offer that as an option to her whereas it's what i am on daily and the best thing for me.
  6. I just had Dr. Konior do a hairline restoration for me it was great. Now I'm looking for PRP for my girlfriend in ATL area. I am looking for a similar level of care in GA specifically in the PRP for instance we've read that having at least one million platelets per microliter of plasma is crucial for PRP effectiveness. Also, the centrifugation method to use is dual centrifuges for best results? Something along those lines, but I'm looking for PRP in Atlanta area if anyone could help. Thanks!
  7. Here's an update pic. Does anyone know any good PRP in ATL? I'm looking for the best similar to Konior
  8. 1 – 595 2 – 1751 3 – 1088 Total - 3434 This is my graft count by the way.
  9. When I inquire next I will ask what you asked me here. It may be a couple months before I reply back; but I love your music @blackpink!!!
  10. Melvin's video is required viewing (his magnesium recommendation is great), and here are some additional items just for fun Healthy sleep (unobstructed airway--check for snoring) Oxygen levels: light cardio, alkaline diet (overall cellular health) Don't impede blood flow by drinking alcohol or consuming nicotine-related products Drink more water buddeh! Avoiding UV radiation from the sun A, C, E, D3 (D3 is best absorbed with K2-mk4 or K2-mk7) Zinc Biotin Strong dosing of Fish oil (megadose EPA, regular dose DHA) - look for Triglyceride forms Selenium Magnesium (chelated "bioavailable" versions) Stress-free lifestyle So basically: a multi-vitamin (an expensive one typically is best); fish oil, healthy diet; moving around during the day; and sleeping well at night.

I sent this to my doctor and he said it's of no concern (of course I am his patient, so ask your doctor). I limit Revita use to once or twice a week and use baby shampoo the rest.
  12. Great question; I work from home and was growing a mullet (see below) before my transplant, so it worked out this way.
  13. look i just try to provide relevant information the forum can keep with time. prices may change if you look at videos from year or two ago or this year or in 3 years, i just want a consistent answer for those in posterity looking for the correct answer: if you want to know how much, just email or call and ask yourself. then this answer never has to change, is it simple yes/no? not simple to get direct answer from source?
  14. are you a paid troll or just unpro? The long explanation is we don’t set his pricing; you call or email and ask. How are we supposed to know, I was waiting on a waitlist for a while. The price of Cheez-Its went up from $2.99 to $4.99 What, you think we’re hiding something from you bro? Your tone like aggressive troll
  15. 5 days after a wash! loving it so far will check back in a month from now
  16. I don't feel comfy disclosing how much it was but Dr. Konior bills by the day and I had his full care during this time. The only thing I was not sure of was whether the sandwich they ordered at lunch for me was all mine or if I was supposed to split it half-half with him, because it was large. I ended up eating the whole thing. Whether you go with FuE or FuT the price is the same as you are paying for one (1) full day with the surgeon. I have no regrets-- I feel as though I got more grafts both in the short-term and long-term by going FuT.
  17. Actually pretty cool donor area looks completely covered up
  18. You guys were right. Flawless. Sitting in hotel room night of procedure writing this on my iPhone. Thanks for your help MattDominance from Let’s Get Hair and Melvin from HairRestorationNetwork. FUT chosen because I don’t care about scars nobody sees them, plus if they do, I would tend for them to think it’s cool. Arrived yesterday, walked across the street and loaded up on food. I probably ate too much (Oreos, Unsalted pistachios to avoid salt bloating) because I was a little nervous, and only got about 5 hours of sleep. Regardless, I went in 6:30a this morning and left at 10p this evening. Will post more in a week, a month, 6 months, and 1 year mark. What can I say? I’m elated. The staff was world-class to say the least. I have never felt in such good care in my life. Dr. Konior is some kind of magician, and I don’t say this lightly. I really do believe there are people in this world on another level, and they're one in one hundred million. I slyly asked him if I could return to the waitlist for next year to fill in the patches in my beard and he smiled and said just focus on healing and don't bump your head over the next few days Smart guy! P.s. Got to keep my mullet (or at leas the part that wasn't affected by the strip incision).
  19. Finasteride and weed both make you grow tits and this is some evidence to suggest weed prevents hairloss as it lowers your testosterone and DHT levels.
  20. I crushed my fingers into my eyes every night after LASIK.
  21. I'm going to go ahead and post my doctor's reply to my question: I have not started taking it yet. Do you recommend going on this before the surgery, or after? Wouldn't I need to come off so that my "natural" recession can be more apparent for my surgery? My concern: these hairs are minoxidil-dependent; I would much rather have transplanted, permanent hairs instead and start oral minoxidil after the new hairline has been created. My doctor said it's important to initiate stabilization early in the thinning process as miniaturizing hair eventually reaches a point of no return, at which time medications are useless. The sooner I begin stabilization, the better the retention of vulnerable hair will be Any gain from surgery will be offset by progressive loss in the preexisting hair population if stabilization is not used or if it is not effective. He suggested I start now.
